Hey guys, i've been betting NFL successfully for a few years now. Figured i'd make a thread up to keep a record of my picks and maybe even get some followers if they like my picks.

Not a bad week for me, could have been better Skins really should have covered that game, up 17 pts in the 4th and the kicker also misses 2 fgs to ice it. Oh well, just a bad beat. Browns also could have covered, their defense played great but the pick 6 really killed them. I really think they will have some nice value in the coming weeks as they have a very very under-rated defense. The Giants pick was just a bad pick on my part, really didn't think the colts defense was good enough to warrant being favored 5.5 points.

Ugly ugly uggggggggggly game tonight, I really do not think the Dolphins could have played worse. Really wanted that perfect 8-0 week. Oh well 7-1 will have to do so I cannot really complain at all. Looking forward to week 5!!

I really like Chicago this week without looking too much into it. A big reason why the Giants could beat the Bears is they could get a good pass rush without blitzing and taking away the quick throws because the defense could drop 7 back. Carolina won't be able to do that, they cannot get to the QB without blitzing, and if they do, that should open up receivers for Cutler to get quick passes out too. Chicago also has a great run defense and that is Carolina's strength, they are also missing Steve Smith.

Carolina just matches up really badly with the Bears, but this just seems too easy, plus the public will be all over this. So i'm a bit hesitant. I am getting in now at -2.5 as I fully expect the line to reach -3, and prob -3.5 or -4 and if I decide I don't like this so much I will jump on Carolina plus the points and hope for a middle.

This is not an official play as of yet, I am more or less locking down a good line which I know will shift against me as the week goes on. If I decide against this play I will simply take this other side.

Well no Cutler now, really thought he would play so i'm really surprised he isn't. Don't like Carolina to jump on them at -1 and potentially lose both, so i guess i'm gonna have to ride this one and hope for the best.

I originally liked the Bears when I thought Cutler would play, now that he's out I would stay away from them or only play them for a unit, I still like them but not by much. I think its gonna come down to the defenses and I just think the Bears defense creates a few turnovers and takes this one. One good thing is Todd Collins is a lot less turnover prone than Cutler.

Bad day, normally get 2 or 3 losing weeks a year, could've been worse tho, should bounce back next week.

2-4... -2.8U still lost less than each of my posted winning weeks, so not too terrible.

Really really like this weeks card, hated last weeks and it showed in how small my units were last week and how I took less games than normal. Maybe forced a few extra picks out than I shouldn't have. But hopefully should turn it around with this weeks games.
