    As saints go marching in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    What an opening game to get us started in the 2010 season. The Vikings travel to New Orleans in a repeat of the NFC Championship game where Brett Favre threw a horrible interception and badly hurt his ankle.Sydney Rice is out which will be a huge loss to the Vikings and Favre had to have an injection to lubricate his ankle just the other day. this isn't a question of which team has improved most since last year, but rather which team has regressed most? Not that they've taken many steps back, for me this is just a question of how the Vikings cope without Sidney Rice and Brett Favre's ankle injury, versus how the Saints cope with what could be a lack of motivation having already written the fairy tale last year. I expect Drew Brees and Sean Payton to not let the team give anything less than 100%,
    Sean Payton is a brilliant coach and what he did last year was amazing and they look better prepared this year than last and the repeat is very atainable for this group of players. They have concentrated on improving their D and it looks like they have done a good job on it. I'm going for the Saints in the opener but its not going to be easy. New Orleans Saints By 5 Points Or More The Vikings have only three healthy corner backs on their active roster. The New Orleans Saints like to use four wide receiver sets.It doesn't take a sport whiz to realize the numbers don't work in the Vikings' favor.Their shortage of healthy corners forces the Vikings to explore different options. Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier didn't even rule out getting some help from Cedric Griffin, who returned to practice this week after missing all of training camp while recovering from anterior coruscate ligament surgery. Well folks no practice???/lol/lol... To be going into the Saints game (which we should have been preparing for since the schedules came out) with only 3 CBs. These bums will have their work cut out for them all year. I'm surprised that Colonel Klink would leave his most vulnerable flank this open for attack!!!On both sides of the ball I'm sad to say. Depleted corners, downgraded receiver, corps, shaky o-line and 1 hit away from #2QB flailing away. What opposing team would be shaking in their boots over that??? Saints must be lickin their chops Saints by 14 Maybe 21 Opp,s 24]{{{{Keep It Under Your Hat}}}}}}
    [COLOR=#000000 !important]The Saints:
    Of their vicories;
    6 had a below .500 season
    5 had an above .500 season (3 were playoff teams)
    2 rivals had .500 season
    Of their losses;
    1 had an above .500 season (playoff team)
    1 had a below .500 season
    1 rival had a .500 season.

    The Vikings:
    6 had below .500 season
    4 had above .500 season (3 playoff teams (GB*2))
    2 rivals had a .500 season

    almost identical records. Even

    Of the offense, the Saints hold every advantage but one and that is 3rd down effiecency (tie). Edge - Saints.

    Of the Defense,Saints the hold every advantage. Edge - Saints
    Injuries: The Saints have only 6 players nursing injuries right now. The Vikings have 10 or so. However, I think that Vikings.
    the injuries are more likely to effect the game. Edge - Saints
    So who do I think will win based on my observations? A simple old saying comes to mind. "Defenses Win Championships". With the Saints
    having the edge in every defensive catagory and close in some of the offensive one. Edge Saints

    Saints - 28
    Vikings - 14
