Assuming everything goes as planned...the Colts should be meeting the Patriots again for the AFC Championship. I'm going to make the Patriots a 7 point favorite.

What are your thoughts on the game? I personally wouldn't like that line.

Obviously the Pats probably don't have 146 yds in penalties with a different officiating crew, but this can't be considered alone. Reggie Wayne doesn't usually drop perfect strikes that may lead to points. Anthony Gonzalez dropping one in the endzone, etc.

Things were sloppy both ways. It would be the real Super Bowl game though, because we can safely assume whoever wins will get by the NFC team. I'm more interested in what that line will be.

The Colts really impressed me this past Sunday. They were the better team for 3 quarters. Even at full strength, I can't see the Colts winning but they may cover depending on the spread. I think it will come down to coaching. If Dungy can come up with a gameplan to slow down the Patriots, then they might be able to get the win. I would expect another low scoring game regardless of who covers.

Nothing ever goes as planned in the NFL. I wouldn't count on this being the AFC Championship game - not with so much more football to be played.

As mentioned, there are a lot of factors that would go into this, depending on what happens between now and then.

Some the biggest factors will include: playoff performance of both teams, injuries and weather.

Injuries, momentum, weather, etc, will make a lot of difference. Imagine the Pats if Moss goes down, or God forbid Brady goes down. Basically game over. For the Colts, Marvin's nagging knee doesn't bode well in any pending playoff rematch, IMHO.

AFC -13 1/2 over NFC in Super Bowl is widely available.
