    My Final Draft Grades
    In alphabetical order:

Arizona. A-. A solid draft and better than most realize.
Atlanta. A-. Witherspoon fills a huge need. Another NFC South Solid Draft.
Baltimore. C+. No 1st round pick. Coty and Dixon a reach?
Buffalo. C+. Spoller is a stud, but still no QB help.
Carolina. B. Clausen was a steal. Stretchy Day 3. Tough when a B is the lowest grade in division.
Chicago. B. Wright was a solid pick. A good draft considering where they started.
Cincinnati. C+. Gresham was a solid pick, but too many picks with character issues.
Cleveland. B. Hayden and Ward are solid picks. Defensive draft.
Dallas. B+. They get a solid reciever. No LT or Saftey or this would have been higher.
Denver. D. Too many stretches in 1st round. Later rounds were better.
Detroit. A-. They filled a need with the best player in the draft. Solid overall draft.
Green Bay. B-. A solid 1st round pick in an otherwise ho-hum draft.
Houston. B-. RB Tate a solid pick. CB Jackson a reach?
Indianapolis. C+. The Colts picked undersized players who are reaches in many cases.
Jacksonville. D-. This draft made little sense. Huge reaches all around.
Kansas City. C+. Berry is solid, but a reach at #5. No needed OL help taken.
Miami. C+. A good defensive draft, but no OL help.
Minnesota. B+. Solid draft with CB Cook and RB Gerhart. No 1st round pick.
New England. B. A very typical Pats draft. Solid, if not spectacular.
New Orleans. B+. They get good CB that they need. Solid overall draft.
N.Y. Giants. C+. They filled a need, but is this kid over-rated? So-so draft overall.
N.Y. Jets. B. Solid defensive draft, but OG Ducasse is a major stretch.
Oakland. A-. A very solid draft mixed with excellent trades. A stunning turnaround.
Philadelphia. B+. The Eagles needed a blitzing LB and got him. Solid defensive draft.
Pittsburgh. C+. C Pouncey and OLB Woirlds good, but stretches here.
St. Louis. C-. They could have had Suh AND Clausen or McCoy. So-so draft.
San Diego. D+. A huge stretch for Mathews. No DL help early. Poor draft overall.
San Francisco. C+. They addressed their O-Line needs, but some choices were reaches.
Seattle. A. An excellent job of filling holes by a first year front office. Great draft.
Tampa Bay. A-. They get one of the best DT out there. Very solid draft.
Tennessee. B+. I really like Morgan. A very good overall draft.
Washington. C+. They get OL help, but no needed secondary help.

I disagree. Look at the Vikings drafts over the past few years. They don't miss.

What teams did in the last few years never entered my mind. Look how terrible the Raiders were, and what a great draft they had this year.

Sometimes reaching a little fir your guy is beneficial. That way u don't end up with whoever mike mayock thinks is the best. Overly reaching like the jags is excessive especially in the first round, they should a droped down, but after the first reaching becomes more and more acceptable since you're not paying them 50 billion guareented. 2nd to 3rd round money is all pretty close... Take your guy!

It seems like the vikings don't miss, but i really dont like their picks this year. Cook is going to be a bust, big waste of a pick, he constantly was getting beat and his hips arent fluid at all/ Gerhart is a good back, but he is not a receiving back so is a bad replacement for taylor. Some of their later picks look like they could pan out but still seem very risky. Overall they could turn out ok, but they passed on some good players that could have made an instant impact, such as taylor mays at safety. They could have taken a shot at Clausen for a QB of the future. I just think they made far too many bad choices over making good ones. They could have done alot better.

Chris Cook was the best corner on the board. The Vikings didn't have any real needs except depth at corner, so they took him.

As for Gerhart, he's adding depth behind Peterson, not functioning as a Chester Taylor 3rd down back. I think they might still sign a vet RB as a 3rd down guy.

As for not taking Clausen, it wasn't the right move. They've got depth at QB. Who knows how long Farve will stick around. Probably longer than any of us might imagine.
