Okay..we've argued this over and over at work and wanted to get everyone's opinion here at SBR. YouTube the clip of Porter's INT for the Saints....As he is returning the ball past the 50 yd line....Will Smith (91) apparently pushes Manning to the ground from behind with arms extended. Does the fact that the runner is past the point to where Manning was considered 'out of the play' or is a block a block?? Some argue that Manning was slowing down and just got ran into? Personally I think it's a missed call that, once enforced, would have placed the Saints at their own 45 or so. Not saying it would have changed the outcome..and I'm happy the Saints won...just want thoughts on the play. Look forward to everyone's input!
