#54Pauly I agree with most of what you said. A few things worth mentioning though...
- The Vikings 12 men in the huddle was inexcusable (the most important down the organization has faced in over a decade!). Who's to blame for that?
- On the Vikings last offensive play I question Favre's decision to throw. No way his decision to throw was based on fear, maybe excitement. But why come back to play, take the beating, and then in the heat of the moment think, "5 yards isn't worth the risk"?!?
- The fumble at the end of the first half was lazy execution and partially Favres fault.Comment -

#56from the clueless an narrow minded so this is what happened period dot end!!!
Brett Farve
This man is by far the greatest QB to ever to assume the position in my eyes but most will not see this so I gave his performance yesterday an A+ for the simple fact that the Saints game plan was to submit as much physical pain on the man as humanly possible and he unbelievably overcame it every time to put his team in position to win the game. To all who thought his interception to end the game in regulation was typical Brett WRONG!!! how could you blame the guy for not wanting to run for field goal position knowing he had no protection from the referee's the entire game. Hell if he would of ran even if he would have made it you know damn well he was going to get leveled illegally just like 80% of his hits were all game long with only one called child please!!! You see people the Saints saw what they could get away with and just progressed through the game and Brett knew this but could do nothing about it so how can you blame him? his life is more important than a stupid football game
Ref's are to blame for the Vikings loss for letting the Saints get away with attempted murder on poor Brett and making sure the Saints would get in field goal position on countless bogus calls & reveiws on the winning drive if you want to call it that to put the books ahead there I said it but someone must stand up and tell the truth without sugar coating it!!!
Don't worry Brett I saw what really happened and you are still the GREATEST my man. I hope you come back next year to put your records even further out of reach just to spite your haters
Below is the Saints last possession of the game which completely controlled the only thing important that mattered the whole entire game and this was the OUTCOME!!!
1.Giving Saints a favorable spot on the 4th down play for the first down because the ball was fumbled even though he regained possession down around is mid section when he hit the ground by rule this is where the ball is placed which is a three foot difference. The Referee's blatantly ignored this rule even in the review upstairs If they would have enforced the rule the correct Result by rule was Vikings ball
However this same rule does not apply when you are breaking the plane of the goal-line because the instant the ball breaks the plane of the goal line it is a touchdown regardless of what happens but in the regular field of play the spot of ball placement is where you regain possession after losing control
2.The pass interference call was not interference Reason#1 the defender never touched the receiver until the ball was out of the receivers reach this itself is not pass interference by ruleReason#2 even if he would have touched the receiver before the ball got there this was not pass interference because the ball was deemed uncatchable by rule if the ball is uncatchable there is no such thing as pass interference
I will also add on the very same play there was blatant holding on the pass rusher by the offender right in front of the Referee and Quarterback which was ignored
3.The final catch was clearly not a catch he bobbled the ball the whole way to the ground and the ball touched the ground by rule a receiver must remain in possession of ball the whole way through the play without using the ground to gain possession and clearly he violated every section of this rule

#59Exactly. New Orleans did everything cleanly. Babies like Pauley, who make losing wagers, want the refs to protect their darling little QB's so their ML wagers can be cashed. They refuse to see the obvious. If Farve was being trampled over, where was the draw play call to Peterson, who had gained well over 100 yards? Where was the screen pass call? Lousy coaching and the inability of the Minnesota offensive line to make the necessary corrections is what cost the Vikes the game, not the refs.Comment -

#61Hard for me to feel sorry for a pro quarterback who makes millions. It's the other teams job to beat the shit out of him........which they did.Bottom line,no matter what happened up to the point of the last drive............Favre had the ball in his hands with a chance to win it.He threw the pass and commited the rookie mistake. So yes,it is his fault without question.sbrComment -

#64The game was a mess. The vikings did have a bunch of chances to win and thats what most people point to, but that doesn't change the fact that going into overtime, it was anybodys game. The refs made some questionable calls. The vikings did not have an accetable chance to win the game after losing the coin flip and that is UNACCETABLE for the NFC Championship game. Its too bad and I think that the NFL has to look into a new OT rule.Comment -

#70Well when he damn near had his ankle broke which he actually thought it was this man could hardly walk let alone run I know this man has no fear but the barbaric endless beating he took there is not a man on this earth who could hide fear at this point. I never in my life witnessed this kind of a beating and when the dust settles it will most likely be some sort of record.
