    Teams that refs love/hate...
Teams that refs hate are as follows: Ravens (I understand that they have a lot of black players, but why do refs feel the need to screw this team any time they play the Steelers, Packers, Patriots, or any team that has a lot of overweight fans)
And what about when the refs made sure the Patriots would continue their undefeated season when they called 45 penalties against the Ravens while driving down the field to score after the Ravens stopped them twice on 4 downs.)
Chargers (remember when Cromartie took back a int for a TD on the last play of the half in the playoffs two years ago vs the Colts? Then the ref threw a flag for holding on the runback to ensure that the Colts would stay in the game? He even walked up to Peyton and said "Don't worry, we gotcha! We won't let those evil Chargers play the Pats because there's way more money in Manning vs Brady in the AFCCG) Raiders (I hate the Raiders, but the tuck rule is easily the winner for "worst call to screw over a team in nfl history"...literally, they invented that rule during the game because I've watched football closely since 1989 and i've never seen or heard of the tuck rule til that day.

Teams that refs love: Packers (sissy fan base with homosexuals in the crowd yelling "Go pack Go," the only fans that are bigger pannywastes are fans of the Boston Red Sox...and if anyone watched the Ravens Packers game the other day, they called the Ravens for Pass interference like 30 times and refused to call it on the Packers... Patriots (from the tuck rule to every playoff game the refs have helped the Patriots, not to mention the Super Bowl where they hit Warner and Faulk after the play on every play and never were called for it). Steelers (just watch one play in the Super Bowl in 05, the play where the Steeler jumps offsides, then Hasselback, knowing he has a free play, throws an int, then gets called for clipping while trying to make a tackle, so not only do the Steelers not get called for being offsides, they get 15 yards on top of possession of the ball. And who can forget Kimo van olhoffen taking out CP's knee a few years ago and the ref turning his head and not calling a penalty...if that was Brady, all hell would've broken loose... Broncos (Ed Hochuli) Brett Favre (any team with Favre gets help) Cowboys (nfl makes money when this team wins, so why not help em out too!)

The Tuck rule is an actual rule so I don't see your point. The hitting defenders beyond 5 yards was a league wise issue thus the emphasis on it a few years ago. Don't let your bias come out too clear. The tuck rule has been in place for 10 years. You may have an issue with the rule itself but don't blame it being upheld in a game as referee favoritism. As the quarterback brings the back ball back down after making the forward motion as if to throw it, it is going to be an incomplete pass until either A. The quarterback begins to run, or B. He brings the ball back up again to throw it. Even a strip sack with the ball in that position is an incomplete pass if the quarterback pump faked. Have some knowledge of what you speak of.

      Always fun(ny) reading your posts.

While the tuck rule did already exist, that famous one in the Pats/Raiders playoff game did look like a bad call to me. However, any Pats fan will tell you it was sweet revenge for that ridiculous roughing-the-passer call back in 1976.

Regarding the Packers/Ravens game... Green Bay were called for four pass interferences, Baltimore five. Total penalty yards were 175 against Green Bay, 135 against Baltimore - yes, the Ravens gained forty more yards on penalties than the Packers. Other than these minor facts, I'm sure you're right.

As for the Patriots, they've been the victims - rather than beneficiaries - of poor calls in big games in recent years. An appalling interference call played a crucial role in Denver's play-off win over them in 2006, and then the Colts 4-point win in the 2007 AFC Championship game was keyed by an interference call in the end-zone so bad that the NFL admitted later it was incorrect.
