Rams and Lions game. Only 3800 bets down and 63% of public on the Lions with a line movement from -5.5 to -4.

I saw that too and was waiting for some more bets before posting. On Bet Tracker they are reporting 4,160 bets and 64% of the bets being placed on Det. It has a big enough line movement but do we need at least 10,000 bets to make this a play?

Not necessarily 10,000. But I definitely will wait to see if it will go up to at least 6k

It is only half a point (.5). In fact on some books (5 Dimes) it went up to 14. Not sure if this is enough to say it's a true RLM play.

Ok can anyone clear this up for me? On SBR Live Odds it says the line opened -16.5 for SD and 70% of the action is on Oakland but there is no change on the line. But on Bet Tracker they have an opening line of -13.5 and 63% of the bets being on SD with the line moving to -16.5. Which is right? Is there a better source for me to check?

The SBR consensus is 5Dimes only, whereas BetTracker uses multiple books (not sure which ones)

Browns are at 29% and the line has moved from +13.5 to +12.5!

Also, GB has moved up to 3 to 3.5 and they only have 32% of the bets.

Lol, both the browns and GB failed to be successful RLMs. Glad I didnt take any this weekend. Big loss on the Indy game.

RLM for week 9 seems to be Tennessee. Anybody liking Tenn at +4? I think it's a good line as I see a win for Tenn or at worst a 3 point loss.

Wow there is some crazy RLM with that game. I don't like RLM on college football either but I may have to make a play on this one.

Hou opened at -3 with 6,000 bets and 91% of the action on Hou the line has moved all the way to +1.5. That is a 4.5 point swing!

Friday (11/6/09) Week 9 NFL

No home NFL teams with RLMs this week that I can see.

Once again an RLM is when:
1. The team has less than 40% of bets
2a. The line moves from negative to MORE negative (-2 to -3....)
2b. or...THe line moves from postive to a smaller number +4 to +2 .... +1 to 0..... +1 to -1....

RLMs for visiting teams are in the games as noted above (with the team having the RLM as listed below):

TEN (32% of 17008 bets ) +5.5 to +4 (RLM 1.5)
CAR (33% of 9808 bets) +14.5 to +13.5 (RLM 1.0)

However both of these teams are away games for the RLM.

The cards are +3 with about 70% of people on them and yet the line stays the same. Chicago is playing at home. Line smells fishy, I'm taking the Bears

I see the under being the play here ... in which case Wash should hang around. Their defense has played great this year and their offense is bad.
