i am a die hard viking fan. i hate to say i believe philly destroys dallas in this meaningfull game. give me your analysis t bird and i will add to your argument

tons of pressure on dal,especially lately,zero veteran leadership,romo chokes in dec/playoffs which this basically is a playoff game,not much of a running game,shitty special teams and fg kicker,wade phillips cant win when it counts,from phillys side now=better qb,better rb's with westbrook back,i'll take their young wr's to torch dal secondary,better special teams,better fg kicker,better def...philly is top 10 in offfense and defense,they have better coaching and more expierence,and they know,its huge to have a week off to automatically move one round further into playoffs without playing a game,plus its for div title and they got beat earlier this year by the boys,so i cant see them getting swept with all this on the line...basically to some it up simply,phi has more to play for and they have a better team

I disagree with a lot of things you said Tbird. First, Romo has chocked in past decembers but is playing the best football of his career this december, their losses are due to little fault of his own.
Secondly, how can you say dallas has a shitty running game? They are top 10 in rushing the football and at times have completely dominated on the ground despite their recent struggles converting a few short yardage plays.

As far as Philly being top 10 in offense and defense. Well, dallas is 3rd in offense and 12th in defense.

With all that being said, this game will probably be damn close and i could see it going either way. But to count dallas out, especially for the reasons you used, wouldn't be smart.

i do. i have about .5 % of my bankroll per unit. but as you can tell i have 1 unit on some games and 12 on others so my more confident plays are much larger. I would agree with you if all these games where flat bet but over the last 6-7 years i have not been down on the year yet. knock on fricken wood! playoffs are so much easier to predict by FAR. you know both teams will bring it and your betting the tallent more than situational.

I mean you're definitely the favorite in this bet. Philly is getting three points and they're a top 10 offense and defense and Romo sucks in december and philly's receivers are beast and our kicker is trash and mcnabb is all time and philly has more big game experience and dallas could choke on their own spit.

well for 1 dallas has no consistency in their rushing offense and faced up against this brutal run defense could get ugly. I fully expect the cowboys to abandon the run early in this game.Dallas's running backs are banged up and none of them have eclipsed 100 yards since week 2. The cowboys "suprisingly" have had a lot of success passing the ball lately. Andy reid will dial up the pressure here. Romo has kept his composure this december but doon't hold your breath. the eagles will be in his face all game long. After watching their secondary shut down the 49ers and denver "mostly in man coverage" i have all the faith in the world they will shut down cowboys big name recievers. Roy williams doesn't count because he isn't good. while the cowboys should also have success against the eagles rushing attack, i don't believe the secondary can keep up with all the weapons the eagles have. If you didn't get the memo, westbrook is back. He will not be a large factor in this game, probably more of a decoy but he is always a threat out of the backfield. Mccoy has been incredible as a starter and will carry the bulk of the workload. The eagles starting center is out so mcnabb could face some pressure, but plenty of screens will be dialed up if Jean-Gilles is having trouble. this game is a playoff game to both teams, so like i mentioned earlier. The eagles are just the more talented team and this should be a lopsided game. The wrong team is favored here.

He was on point for the most part. It is true that none of the cowboys running back have eclipsed 100 yards this season. But that is basically irrelavent because the cowboys are on a two and sometimes three running back system and they are one of the top yards per game teams in the league.
I could certainly see the eagles giving the cowboys receivers a tough game, but not because of the fact that they shut down the 49ers and Broncos receivers, considering that both of those teams have lower-tier quarterbacks.
While it's true the cowboys might not be able to keep up with the eagles weapons, the same could be said about 90% of the teams in the NFL.
All that being said, the Eagles are damn good and the Cowboys are surging. The only thing that will keep me from betting on the cowboys is that they are favored by 3 points, which really makes no sense considering how the eagles have been playing. If i was to bet this game i guess i would take the cowboys ML, but that wouldn't even be worth it.

I have to say I totally agree with you. I think this game sets up perfectly for the Bengals. Jet's Def is good no doubt but they are not that good. They got a X-mas gift this year in the form of playing a Colts team minus it's starters in the 2nd half and then the lame effort from Cin last week. It's going to be a whole different experience for young Mr. Sanchez who might be a little over confident going into this one. He did not have to do anything in that game and will have to in order to win on Sat. Bengals have a very good run defense and things will be different this week. One thing the Bengals did not do was give away any schemes or plays last week. Now the Jet's ran the Wild Cat, etc.. The game meant everything to NY and very little to Cin in terms of getting into the play-offs.
