Saints up by 17 middle 4th quarter. Falcons score TD down by 11 and they go for 2. Pls someone explain the logic and why idiots have no understanding of when to togo for 2. Or am I missing something

have no idea. Lost 2 times in last 3 weeks to same crap. once with lions +7.5 and now tonight with ATL +7.5.

Plus ATL decided to kick a FG from the 25 on first down while driving the ball. Makes no sense at all shady as heck. unreal.

they kick a FG at the 2 min warning on 1st down, just like you I was shocked. you take 3 tries and throw into the end zone or inside 5 yd line before kicking FG
      I just don't get it

and in doing all that you waste time u still need two scores and therefore an onside kick so its best to kick fg and leave as much time as possible to score a td ur only looking at it through the lenses of your wager

no because you are already down at the 25 yard line and can try to score with some medium/deep passes and were driving the ball-- and if this does not work still kick the FG, then get the onside kick.

If you get a TD however and "use time" doing it you will nearly be in FG range once you recover the onside kick, but you will still need to drive for a score if you only kicked a FG.

Obviously kicking a FG on fourth down makes all the sense in the world. Its kicking it on 1st down with 2 minutes left at the 25 yard line after completing a 25 yard pass that makes no sense.

its much harder to score a TD than a FG, and they were in the red zone in perfect scoring position.

second of all, why the 2 point attempt to go from an 11 point deficit to a 9 point deficit? how did this help them at all? if they really wanted to try and go for the win instead of OT then why not go for 2 on the 2nd TD instead of destroying your teams mathematical ability to come back by increasing the number of times they need to score by trying nonsensical XP's ?

yeah I agree on 25 yd line makes sense to take a few shots for td first
