What Is YOUR Favorite NFL Team And Explain How Long And Why????
The reason i am asking is i am curious. I am new here although i spent years at other forums and have lurked here on and off.

My favorite NFL team is the Tennessee Titans i have liked them since their first year as the Tennessee Titans in 1999 before that we didn't have an NFL franchise and i had waited since being a kid in the 1980's for an NFL team in Tennessee.

The Titans had 9 winning seasons,7 postseason appearances,6 postseason victories,3 division titles,3 13 win seasons,2 times NFL best record,2 AFC title and 1 Super Bowl appearance from 1999-2017. Not bad at all for its first 19 years and the Titans actually have a shot at being top 10 in wins overall its first 20 years if the can bypass a few teams in 2018.

Whats crazy is the Browns also started again in 1999 as well but lets just say they didn't quite have as much success as Tennessee the last 19 years.

Eddie George in the new Titans uniforms in the summer of 1999 before the Titans very first season in the NFL as a new team. In his career as a Titans RB Eddie George managed to gain over 10,000 yards overall.

The logo represents the Titans 20th anniversary in 2018......

I was curious about how well the Titans did the last 20 years so i decided to look at all NFL teams and see how all teams have done since 1999 the year the last two franchises came out(Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns) Houston Texans came out in 2002.

The first 16 teams had winning record overall the past two decades.

In 2008 their 10th anniversary the Titans had the best record in the NFL that year at 13-3 and a really good defense with Jevon Kearse,Kyle Vanden Bosch,Tony Brown and the first 100 million dollar defensive free agent Albert Haynesworth. After he retired Albert admitted he should've stayed in Tennessee with defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz who recently led Philly and its defense to its first Super Bowl.

Another bright spot in 2008 was RB Chris Johnson was set the combine record for the fastest time ever 4.24 seconds and he didn’t waste no time showing how good he was and the very next year he set the NFL record for all purpose yardage and if not for a bad penalty call would’ve broken Eric Dickerson’s rushing record too but he did manage to become just the sixth RB ever to go over 2000 yards in one season with 2006 yards.

Johnson is the only RB in NFL history to register 6 different runs in his career over 80 yards....

O.J. Simpson,Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson all have just 3 runs over 80 yards

Johnson and just six other runners have had at least three touchdown runs of 80 or more yards in their career. Not surprisingly, two in that group – O.J. Simpson and Barry Sanders - are Hall of Famers.

In 2015 the team drafted QB Marcus Mariota and things started to get better and Mariota in his very first game managed to have a perfect passer rating as well as being the youngest QB to ever achieve that feat in his first NFL game.

In his rookie season had the longest run of any player that year with an 87 yard run vs Jax.

As of November 24,2016 Thanksgiving Day, Mariota was the first QB in modern NFL history with six four-TD performances in his first 22 career games. No other QB had more to start a career.

Mariota Had 9 games with 100 passer rating/multiple TD’s only Dan Marino,Russell Wilson and Kurt Warner had more in their first 2 seasons at QB.

Has thrown 40+ TD and 0 INT in red zone his first three seasons

Marcus Mariota is 1 of 5 QBs in NFL history with 9,000-plus pass yards (9,476) and 900-plus rush yards (913) in first three seasons.

Led Titans to a 7-1 record in games decided by 3 points or less last two seasons. The .875 winning % in games decided by 3 or fewer points during that stretch is tied with Steelers for the best in the league.

Led the NFL with four 4th quarter comebacks and five game winning drives the most of any NFL QB in 2017.

In his three year career he has eight 4th quarter comebacks and nine game winning drives.

Led biggest NFL road playoff comeback win ever for a QB at Kansas City coming back from 18 down winning 22-21.

During a wild card playoff game at Kansas City, Mariota became the first QB in NFL playoff history to catch his own pass for a touchdown after it was batted back to him by a defender.

First player to have both a receiving and passing touchdown in a playoff game.

Jon Robinson is getting ready for his 3rd season as GM of the Tennessee Titans. His main job when he arrived is to get the franchise back to winning after they had four straight losing seasons the most since the team started in 1999.

    He has done exactly that.

Since being hired in January 2016 he has led the Titans to two straight winning seasons back to back 9-7 years.

In 2017 they made the playoffs and then their QB Marcus Mariota led the team to the biggest come from behind win of all time on the road winning 22-21 at Kansas City after being down 21-3 at halftime.

Big things are coming in the future for Tennessee......

Talk about a homer post. We could read the same crap in the Tennessee Press Guide. Save it for a Titan Reunion. Being #13 out of 32 teams is certainly nothing to brag about. 3 teams have an excellent chance of passing them this season.
