    Teaser Question
Hello all. I'm not necessarily new to betting, but I am new to teasers. I had a question that maybe I can get some answers from you guys about. If I bet a 6 point teaser on say Atlanta -3 and Chicago -2, that would make the teaser Atlanta +6 and Chicago +4. Would that mean that even if both teams lose by those amounts, the bet still wins? I think yes, but I just wanted to hear it from another person, that is indeed true. I understand the value may not be very good, but not concerned with that at the moment.

I'm wondering because in this weeks situation, there is New England-7 vs the Jets, and Atlanta -4(when it first came out, it is now at 6ish)vs titans. I do believe that both teams will win, possibly dominate, but with the you never know factor I figured tease them together at NE-1 and Atl+2, that way its guaranteed unless an upset happens. Seems like I wouldn't be sweating the game so much with the lines teased that way. Just my thoughts, and would love to hear your, especially some of you experienced guys out there. I thank you for your time, and in advance for responding. Good luck to all this weekend.

Generally a push in any leg of a teaser loses you the entire bet, unlike a parlay.

2-team NFL teasers are okay. Never do 3-teamers and almost never on college football. Goodluck & stick around, maybe you'll learn some more

A push is not a loss on all teasers (it can be on some books)..only sweetheart teasers typically lose on a push, otherwise they reduce like a parlay. A two team teaser would be graded overall as a push if one side of the bet pushes.

You want to look for lines where you can move the number past 3 and 7, either on
-/+ side. These typically give you the best advantage.

To answer your question, take the starting number and subtract the amount of points your teasing from favorites, and add the number when it's a dog.

      Example
Atlanta -7 teased 6 pts makes it -1
Cleveland +6.5 teased 6 pts makes it +12.5

No. That would make the lines Atlanta +3 and Chicago +4. If they lost by those amounts, it would be a push. Not a winning bet. Some two team teasers reduce with a push. Some are simply canceled and the initial bet is refunded. Some of them have a push=loss clause. Read up on your site before you place the bet.
