week 7
nyj+10 -125 (2x)..this my favorite play of the week, as i mentioned i dont think we need 10 but i cant stand taking a dead number like 9 so im willing to pay the juice to get +10. i think jets will have every opportunity to win this game, they match up incredibly well and facing pats at a time their oline has some real issues. ivory is running like a wild man and pats run defense is sherman soft at 29th in the league allowing 4.8 ypc. jets should be able to limit brady's chances and harass him when pats do have the ball. being 100% honest here where are the pats advantages in this game outside of qb and te? jets better on both lines of scrimmage, better wrs, better rbs, far better secondary. i like bowles as a coach and think the days of hoodie outsmarting jets coaching staff left when fat boy went to buffalo. as long as fitzpatrick doesnt make too many stupid mistakes jets should be in this game to the final whistle. i make pats 3-4 points better on a neutral so anything more than 7 is a gift imo.. pats most likely find a way to win but the ml is very tempting to me as i think jets give them everything they want in this game.. both teams have been great capping off drives with tds in the red zone, the difference being jets d is the best in the league in those spots while pats rank near the bottom. if jets can hold brady to some fgs down there this game comes down to the wire. 26-24 im gonna say pats but could go either way i think..
bucs+3.5 (1.5x)... i dont think the hook gonna last long here so playing this one now. evans abused this secondary last season and i really see no way skins secondary holds up against him and jackson. i think shamis will continue to improve and hopefully build some continuity with evans he wasnt able to in the preseason since evans was hurt. the biggest silver lining for me here is that cousins is every bit as turnover prone as shamis. i think tampa sports the better defense and the offense with far more upside. i like them to win outright but will happily take the points. 22-20 bucs..
