i bought tix before cubs beat pit but was really hoping for that result, kinda figured with arrietta being virtually unhittable. it always great but it was something else with obnoxious scrubbie fans dying for a winner after centuries of losing. No just started that fanduel this season new to fantasy myself but finished in top 10% out of about 250,000 3 outta 4 wks for small profit so far not bad for a rook. Yeah I had Gordon last wk too was expecting 100 yard and maybe 2 td vs that shit Brownie run d was very disappointed. jax/tb ov 42 (1.5x)...honestly it kinda hard to look at a lot of numbers that point to the over here, both teams have allowed a lot of points against (tb 29 and jax almost 27), that said both are also fairly solid in a lot of defensive categories i look at. this one has a lot to do with feel i guess, i think both offenses have improved over last year yet both are taking more yards to generate points, neither team is scoring more than last seasons sorry averages, and both are scoring tds less frequently when they get into the red zone, yet when i look at both i see drastic improvements.
far as the jags are concerned they upgraded their rushing attack with yeldon and more importantly i think bortles has made a lot of strides his second season and think he has the look of a long time successful qb in this league. hurns and robinson both also in their second years seem to be on the same page with the improving qb and i think this offense has the makings of a up and coming unit.
on the bucs side martin is running better and stronger than a year ago but it mostly starts and ends with shamis, while sure he mistake prone he has the arm talent to push the ball down the field to those big talented wrs as proof by bucs 12.4 yards per completion. the turnovers could very well help us and we talking bout a tb team who put up over 400 yards against a very good panther defense.
jags rushing defense has been really strong so i suspect shamis will be forced to throw early and often to move the ball which thus far has lead to the opposing team scoring points and at some point i think will translate to bucs scoring more themselves as he learns not many teams can cover his wrs on the outside. i think this will be a close gm where both young qbs put up solid numbers and a couple tds, yeldon should do some work on the ground and think he will get his 1st rushing td of his young career, hopefully bucs punch in their scoring chances instead of relying on a shit kicker. tough spot for jags being their 3rd road tilt in a row and bucs hosting their second straight at home only reason im not considering jags here. i made this thing around 45 with upside in one of those shit games on paper that turns into a bit of a fun shootout.
titans ml +103 (1x).. give me a whisenhunt offense that been preparing his young qb well and coming off a bye to exploit fat boy rex's very exploitable pass defense. guys like wright and walker been doing work to the bills secondary and think green-beckem will continue to get more involved in what i think a up and coming offense. the defense been ok and is getting a lot of help back this week while bills are a mash unit. i dont trust taylor and think he makes some mistakes having to shoulder the offense with a bunch of guys manning the rb spot. bills been playing tough teams so maybe im selling them short but i like the offensive minded coach off a bye vs the blundering idiot.

dont think it any secret how i feel bout backing matty ice at home to win games. not real sure on the spread as i think skins can and will have success rushing and stopping the run, problem for them is ryan and co gonna put up points on this secondary and at some point that means cousins will be forced to attempt the same. more times than not that leads to cousins making mistakes and expect more of the same here, 27-23 atl.
kc defense been getting abused by really good offenses and now get to come home and face mr turnover jay cutler and a largely depleted wr corp. seems like a great spot for the defense to take out some frustration at arrowhead. i actually think they gonna cover this spread as i expect the d will cause several turnovers, between those and the special teams manage to score or set up a few scores. smith and the offense been moving the ball pretty well and just not finishing drives., think they finish enough today and this game snowballs with the d teeing off on a hobbled cutler. 31-17 kc (lean over as well)..used kc defense in roughly 75% of my dfs lineups as well for those interested in such things

Just checking in to say you seem to have a really good insight on the sport. I'm kind of a newbie with NFL, only really been following it seriously for 3 years. So much to learn until considering betting the sport seriously. Your detailed insight is much appreciated, and very hard to find on this forum. Love the fact you justify every pick you have, take on board all opinions, and even concede when you make mistakes on picks.
By reading your posts, your enabling me to read the sport better while giving me things to think about which I otherwise wouldn't .

honestly i was shocked they drafted him as i thought he was best talent in the draft therefore not typically the rams "type of player", lol. just watching him return kicks at uga made me think he was something special as he had elite size/speed combo you rarely see and never see returning kickoffs. kid is a beast for sure but i dont care where he plays, lambs could go 18-0 and i honestly wouldnt give 2 shits, ive just never been into football from a fan perspective, always playing it myself and gambling on it since i was a kid. lol.Comment -

hit my top plays again but otherwise just avg as has been the case most weeks (looks like 4-3). really unusual for me to be hitting my top plays at such a high clip as i never been great at differentiating one play from another, think i have hit my BTP 2x play every week thus far tho so no point in not enjoying while the getting is good
would have been a much better week record wise if bungals 1st half wasnt a real kick in the nuts with the ginger finally screwing me over throwing that pick when cincy was in position to close out the half with a go ahead fg! no clue wtf happened to kc leg of teaser? i saw them up 17-3, still up when i went to store to get my girlfriend some ice cream and walk in to see they somehow lost to the weaponless bears in arrowhead! talk bout 2 kicks in the nuts and swings that ruined what could have been almost a perfect week! seriously my 3 losses were titans cause i greedily took the ml, dalton throwing a pick instead of taking the fg to end half, and chiefs losing at arrowhead! what could have been! lol.. didnt have a chance to post halftimes but helped myself there with phi/over and hitting the 2nd half over again in tampa. so overall im happy and continue posting small gains so nobody can be too angry with me! lmao..
really dont have a clue tonight, sf has made me look silly putting my money on them the last 2 weeks, i cant bring myself to lay that number with a nyg team i dont think is all that good,. seems like a absolute pass to me, got some money on the jays mlb and will prob just watch a movie with my girl 2marro i lean sd and im working days so will def have something for monday as it a rare chance to watch the game for me.. gl everyone if you decide to play tonight, ill try to post something for monday night a little later on..

What do you think of the atl line? I don't know why atl is only favored by 3 against a terrible saints team. Atl didn't play very well at all this sun, but neither did the saints. Only thing i see going for saints is that it is a prime-time home game...that doesn't make up for a crap team

i worked during the day today so havnt had a chance to look at next weeks card, the fact it a thu game means i really have no interest, im assuming julio is really banged up by evidence he didnt blister a terrible skins secondary. white a shell of himself, so all they really have is matty ice throwing to a banged up wr and a bunch of nobodies and a newfound really good run gm since freeman has finally decided to be a man. that performance against a really good skins front 7 leads me to believe their run gm is the truth and while i probably wont bet it i see no reason they dont dominate the shitbag saints on the ground. far as line goes id say aints have been overrated at home for the last several years and this no exception. no way would i have the dog here, it atl or nothing but ill prob pass, ill be at work anyway and i hate the thu night cash grab..

not real sure why it coming back down but at 45 i like the over quite a bit and was about to play it/post it.. i think chargers win but i have it between 4-6 so dont see a ton of room for a bet. i think vick will be a lot better with added practice time this week and bell should go ape shit on this weak ass d allowing something like 6.4 yards per play which a ton when you consider they havnt gotten beaten deep all that often. worry a little bout the charger oline another reason im no too excited to play them, dont think it hurt the over much as there still be plenty of times rivers, gates, and allen carving this weak pit secondary.Comment -
pit/sd ov 45 (1x).. both defenses have some glaring holes, sd allows teams over 6 yards per play and i suspect bell will abuse this team. vick with extra time i think will be much sharper as he just missed brown a few times last week and they still managed 20 against a bal d that not great but better than what the chargers have to offer. see no reason pit doesnt score 21-24 here. steelers been getting after the passer and that might cause some problems for a beat up and suspect sd oline but they get back gates tonight and pit is right next to oak when it comes to inability to defend the te, i suspect gates out to prove something and will be there to bail rivers out whenever he in trouble. when rivers does have time pit allows teams to complete 70% of their passes so dont think he will have a whole lot of problems moving the ball. i like allen, gates, and woodhead all to have good games and think chargers will do what they do and rally to win late, lets call it 27-24..Comment -
