6 point teaser, Seattle even and Denver -1.
This play appears square as hell, but it's the right one. Seattle will not drop two straight games to a Rams team that couldn't block the 49ers on offense or stop them on defense on MNF at home. The Hawks will be ramped up after the loss and all of the noise from the Percy Harvin trade. They're going to re-establish their run game and move the ball against a truly bad (time to admit it) St. Louis D. Seattle is going to pressure Davis all day and force at least a couple of mistakes. They will be hungry. I'll probably play them straight too because I think they win this game going away, something like 27-13.
Denver is the best home team in the league outside of Seattle and looked like it two weeks ago when they dismantled the Cardinals. The 49ers come into the game hot, but injured. They will be missing their heart and soul in Patrick Willis, which is bad news for both the run and pass D and could also be missing 2 of their 3 top corners in Jimmie Ward and Tremaine Brock. Even if one or both of them play, they will be limited. In fact, 5 of the 6 SF corners were on the injury report this week. They will also be without Mike Iupati on the O-line. They will just be too undermanned against a Denver team that is beginning to hum on all cylinders offensively and is always better at home. Their defense has been better at Mile High as well. I see Peyton and the boys scoring a lot of points in this one and don't think the Niners can go step-for-step. 34-28 Broncos.
Good luck!
