So if Seattle is sooo Good....who did they really beat to prove it?
Carolina (They lost 3 of their first 4 then got on their hot streak)
San Francisco (Lost 2 of first 3 then got on their hot streak, scored only 10 points on their first 2 losses)
Jacksonville (Current Record 3-9, Lost their first 8 games)
Houston (Current Record, 2-10 and Houston took Seattle to OT)
    Indianapolis (They beat Seattle 34-28)
Tennessee (Current Record 5-7, Lost by 7 in Seattle)
Arizona (Current Record 7-5, probably their best win so far....ooooooo wow)
    St. Louis (Currently Record 5-7)
Tampa (Was 0-8 After losing to Seattle, took Seattle to OT in Seattle)
    Atlanta (Current Record 3-9)
    Minnesota (Current Record 3-8-1)

So....I'm not sure what all the fuss is about here.

    1. New Orleans clearly has the best offense they have seen all year.
    2. Seattle has injuries to some key players
    3. Seattle really hasn't beat anyone. They beat 1 team with a winning record at the time they played them, and that was San Fran with a then record of 1-0.

    Seattle WHO??

WHO DAT WHO DAT WHO DEM SAINTS!

    SAINTS WIN!

    31-17.

Seattle's strength of schedule is DEFINITELY something people need to consider.

I feel like this argument can go both ways. Saints have played creampuffs like the jets, the bills, atlanta, the bucs, dallas, chicago, and a weaker than previous years NE team.

Can we please not forget the part where Geno Smith goes 8-19, 115 yards, 2 sacks, 0 TDs and they beat the Saints?

Why do we always do this? Both teams have played some shit teams. They play who is on the schedule guys. What do you want them to do?

The argument can definitely go both ways, but I really think a lot of people are undervaluing the significant of SoS here. Well, maybe they're not underestimating it's value, but they're possibly failing to recognize a slightly inflated perception of some statistics than appear to favor the Seahawks in this matchup.

San Fran played all the same teams except for Washington and Green Bay.

10-1 in the NFL is pretty darn good no matter who they played. But the Saints are good too. Should be fun.

This is a tossup game, IMO, but the Seahawks playing at home definitely gives them an edge. The Saints past couple performances on the road (particularly the one in New York) does worry me because NO are not the same qb outdoors that they are indoors. But we'll see. I think on a neutral field the Saints get the slight edge, but in Qwest Field on MNF is a tough task.

none of those games matter worth a flip but the game film. its the matchups tonight and which qb plays better, makes plays on 3rd down and the team that holds onto the football. thats what matters.

Carolina and SF are both pretty good teams. Best to look at them now, not discount the wins by claiming they weren't good then.

Plus, counting the losses they took against Seattle doesn't make sense.

Seattle beat Carolina, and the Panthers are 9-2 in their other games
Seattle beat SF and the 49ers are 8-3 in their other games.

Those are two damn good wins.

Arizona is 7-4 in their other games.

The NFC West is probably the best division in football, and Seattle leads it by 2.5 games. They have not lost a division game.

Dont really have an opinion in this game one way or the other, just pointing out a quick stat. According to Sagarin, the Seahawks actually have a tougher strength of schedule than the Saints (18 vs 23). Not sure what algorithm he uses to determine that, just thought it was interesting. Good luck to anyone who bets this.

And.....Seattle is down some star players on Defense. which matters a lot to one of the Top QB's in the NFL.

Seattle has been missing 3 starting O linemen the majority of the season, 2 of which are pro bowlers. I don't are who you are or who you're playing, missing your center and both tackles is a brutal loss.

Two starting corners out, Sidney Rice and Harvin out.

                                Still 11-1.
