Never tease across the zero. If you like these teams, here's a better value, or maybe an extra hedge play:

    WagerType:PARLAY (5 TEAMS)
    Date: Team:
    Oct 07 NFL [414] PITTSBURGH -190
    Oct 07 NFL [417] CLEVELAND +8-110
    Oct 07 NFL [422] CINCINNATI -175
    Oct 07 NFL [427] CHICAGO -240
    Oct 07 NFL [430] NEW ENGLAND -265
Risking 10 SBR To Win 79.35 SBR

But, I gotta admit, getting that extra 3 1/2 for Cincy and Pitt is tempting against those good defenses.

Why should one never tease across the zero slacker?

        Ahh, it's just common strategy. You're buying across numbers that are fairly meaningless (2, 1, 0 , -1 -2).

You want to capture everything through the 7 and the 3, which are all of the premium numbers (7, 6, 5, 4, 3).

The math behind this is in Stanford Wong's book Sharp Sports Betting, but probably can be found online too.
