Syracuse coming off a loss @ Notre Dame. It's their 2nd road game in 3 days. Cincinnati coming off an overtime loss on the road @ West Virginia. Don't overthink this. Syracuse is clearly the best team in the nation this year, and they will cover the 4 points.

You could make a case for Kentucky as the best team this year, but IMO Kentucky and Cuse are head & shoulders above the rest. They are sure #1 seeds, and I don't think you could make that case for any other team right now. I did think Melo would be back before I made this bet, no clue why he's not playing. Cuse is still the better team though, and I like them to win by 8-10.Comment -

Melo is out for "academic" reasons. That means he probably can't read. That is a big loss. They may win and they are very good but they looked lost against Notre dame. I'll take cincy at + 6 but nothing large of courseComment -
I love Syracuse, went there, watch every single game, made the trip up to go to see them beat up Florida, however, watching them all year I think that they are not playing that well lately. They are extremely talented, but their last few games, particularly second half, they have been playing slopping and chucking up jock shots. They looked unbelievably bad against Notre Dame. They couldn't rebound for the life of them, their Defense wasn't the same without Melo shot blocking, and once they were down they panicked big time, particularly Dion Waiters who was running down court and chucking up ugly 3's when they were down by 8 with 6 minutes left in the game, no excuse. Do they right the ship tonight? Maybe, they have the talent even without Melo to blow out most teams, but they haven't had a ton of time to create game plans and have game experience without him there. Cincinati has been hot, personally it is a no play for me and I was dreaming of a cuse spread this low all year. I hope Cuse wins, but I think that the -5.5 is just absolutely rediculous based on how Cuse looked last game, the fact melo isn't playing, and how good cinci is playing. Honestly, I think there is great value in Cinci moneyline. I would never bad mouth my team, but emotions aside, they just looked god aweful on Saturday and who knows what is gonig on in that locker room.Comment -

As much as I agree with this statement, Im gonna have to say you couldnt be anymore wrong for this year, and the next and the next. Syracuse is too deep of a team and deep teams that enter the big dance are scary! I think they will easily surpass the sweet 16 this year, and next year im even more positive on this statement! We will only lose Scoop Jardine, and the way Dion Waiters, and Melo are developing! Syracuse is gonna be very scary not only this year but years to come! Watch out!Comment
