WVU/Baylor and UNLV/Cal

What's going on with this UNLV/Cal game? At full-strength (Cal), this line should be no higher then 2.5.

Baylor/WVU: Love this Baylor team, I question their guard play against a team like WVU today though. I think WVU can get physical with PJ3 a bit and slow him down, at least make him work. Acy is tough, I think the pace of play is going to be a bit of an adjustment for the rest of the guys though. Leaning WVU +5.5. Thoughts ?

Solomon is a huge loss...read Gutierrez had food poisoning, gonna play but who knows how effective he will be as that takes a lot out of you, he is a huge deal..not sure if it was food poisoning for other guys or they just sick, either way that is a lot of problems to overcome... i agree with you i made this line 2ish but that was before i saw all this....sucks but think im just gonna pass cause who knows how they all doing...

im scared of Baylor but i agree WVU has the length and athletes to play with them , seems strange that st mary's was only +2.5-3 yet wvu is catching this many...still think i need another point to think about them..

Hear you on Baylor as well. Have had them +4.5 against BYU, -2 at Baylor and now seeing them at -5.5 against a Huggins squad, just doesn't look right. Lot of people been winning with Baylor recently so perhaps this does get pushed up to 6, 6.5.

i dont know why everyone keeps going against baylor. they are one of the biggest, most athletic teams in the country. they have a top 5 pick in perry jones who keeps proving game after game that hes the real deal. wvu needed overtime to win yesterday, while baylor dominated st marys. what doesnt everybody see about this team? they are the real deal. In my eyes the line should be around 7 or 8 for baylor, and im gonna take the 2 points of value that I see. good luck to all the wvu backers, youll need it

I still think they have a good shot today, would really like to see Kilicli in there though, he's doubtful and wasn't very effective last night - WVU wins ugly games, but they win. Little pressure on Baylor's guards could really impact this game.

the only reason the line is even as high as it is is because of injury..if you made this line Baylor -8 with wvu at full strength you have no idea what you are doing..

Jones is going to be getting the ball in a lot less favorable positions today and with more pressure. Kid is an absolute stud, I am really interested in seeing how he does today - I still think he's learning just how good he is and I want to see what kind of adjustments he can make in game to maximize his ability. WVU is battle tested, this success and attention Baylor is receiving is new to them. Not saying Baylor cannot win and cover this game by any means, it's not going to come easy though.

because wvu's a good team dont get me wrong... they have athletes and a great coach... but after playing OT last night i just dont see them keeping it close with baylor. baylor is just too athletic and well rounded, if their guards dont get it done their big guys do. if the big guys dont get it done, the guards can drill the 3. for whatever reason vegas keeps undervaluing them, i think your question about the line is better directed at the bookies in vegas, not me
