Loyola at Kentucky 1pm

Kentucky might be without jones again tomorrow but if so i see that helping their focus and execution more so than hurting it. loyolas only two losses are to ncstate and bonnies who play each other last night to the wire. regardless i thought the spread would open in the 30s not -24. any thoughts, anybody like uk to start the day

I'm a UK homer so take this with a grain of salt but I wouldn't touch this game. Kentucky has failed to cover in at least each of their last 5 games. Jones did not practice today and word is he will sit again tomorrow. Additionally, Cal has hinted that the team will not have a shoot-around tomorrow morning before the early 1PM EST tip. This game is a quick turnaround since the late Tuesday night game versus Chattanooga. I see the team being sluggish and potentially sleepwalking through this game. Guys on the team have been tweeting all week about being excited to go home to their families for the 3-4 day holiday break. You have been warned.

Loy MD is not a bad team..they will do well in the MAAC with IONA...just saying...i think they cover here..but it will be close

Im a sophomore at loyola actually, I haven't been able to see them play since george washington and what concerns me is our key to success is really if Cormier can dominate, Drummond can drop a ton of points and Etherly needs to get a double double along with our other big Walker getting in the double digits but the last 2 games Etherly was completely absent and I'm not sure if that was a nagging injury or what. Cormier is a force to be reckoned with, he definitely could be on almost any team in the country but he chose to stay close to home. Drummond is a real scorer too but Loyola really attacks the paint constantly and the three is not really a threat, Kentucky has the serious shot blockers down low and I feel like if Etherly isn't dominant like in his last two games Kentucky will completely control the paint.

Ok so without Jones Loyola will be able to get in the paint more frequently Davis is definitely the main force but they will have to rely more on MKG here. If the game is in blowout mode though and Loyolas bench is in it will get ugly fast, Loyola has a very weak bench and I feel with a big spread like this it could be extremely coverable

I capped the game at -24 for UK and total 138 so this line is sharp I didn't even know the lines before I capped the game.
