are you for real? i asked a legitimate question since most people view 1x as a light play and 3x as large play.

to another night in the green. I really hope enough people were able to see my two Arizona 2nd half bets in time to tail, as they are the plays that put the night in the positive. Half time only provides a small window to get bets in, so you would have to really be following the thread closely in order to catch them all in time. Hopefully you all did.

Anyways, another crazy day in college hoops. I'm really happy with the Cleveland St and Rider plays. Always great to see big road dogs cover easily when you pick em. JMU was disappointing, and the end game for Arizona luckily went our way so that we cashed both our 2nd half plays, pushed one and lost one on the full game plays. Thrilled to be putting our fifth straight positive night in the books.

Good morning fellas! Another great day to be alive! Yesterday capped off our inaugural week of college hoops this season, and what a week it was! 5 days of plays, 5 days in the green!

Should be some plays later today, but first, a few notes from last week that I hope will help this thread going forward:

I want everyone to be able to enjoy the wins as much as I do, so I try and make it as clear as possible to find my plays in this thread and see what they are. I always post and repost my plays in bold, and generally in a simple post without much else in it. Anything not written in bold is not a play.

Similarly, I try to make my plays timely enough so that anyone who does the offshore thing can get their bets in, and anyone who lives in Vegas or uses a local has time too. However, if you are following me, please keep an eye out for changes I make to plays as we approach game time. For example, yesterday I announced a play on Rider +22.5 at 2x. Shortly after that, Trubbel posted how he was tailing me on that play, and got Rider +22.5 for 2 units at his bookie. Then, about a half hour before game time, I announced I was adding 1x to that play, making it Rider +22.5 3x. That was huge, as Rider ended up covering by a mile and giving us the easy cash. I really hope Trubbel was able to see my update in time and add that extra unit.

Basically, as a general rule, me adding units to an already-announced play is always a possibility. So always keep checking the thread as we approach game time. If you live in Vegas or book with a local, maybe wait until close to game time to see what my final plays are before going down to your book. And if you book offshore, well just always make sure to check the thread for late updates. And finally, keep the thread open during halftime, as 2nd half plays are always, always a possibility.

Also, keep your eye on Manhattan vs Syracuse. Manhattan is a weak team, but they have been sneaky good against the spread recently. I won a bunch betting on them last year.

Was initially leaning toward Furman, but now thinking Columbia based on their strong showing against UConn the other night. I figure, they are going to be back home, and will probably win. The question is if they will win by being ahead the whole game, or if they will win after a close battle. If they are strong the whole game, then there is a good chance they will cover the 4.5 points due to Furman fouling toward the end. It's tough to know with these Ivy teams sometimes, although they did exactly what I predicted them to do against UConn.

Manhattan game is a stay-away for now. I do remember them covering a lot last year, but I also remember them getting destroyed a lot too.
