    idk about la tech, being from hawaii i follow wac teams closely. la tech sucks pretty bad. one thing is for sure im never putting my money on them

    In their last home game, La Tech lost by 17 to a shaky Fresno State team. They then went on the road and got beat by 7 by a raunchy Idaho team, by 15 at Boise State, and by 9 at New Mexico State. I actually think that 9-point loss at New Mexico State was La Tech's best effort of the season so far. I think they are ready for a letdown. And, make no mistake, home court doesn't help much when a team is this bad (331st (out of 341) RPI). Tonight La Tech hosts a very good team. Utah State is shooting 50% from the floor. Jaycee Carroll has over 2000 points in his career for Utah State; he'll probably get about 1000 tonight.

    My favorite dogs today are San Jose State +1 at Idaho and Pacific +7 at UC Santa Barbara. I'm waiting to see if the line will move a bit and sweeten that Pacific bet.
