Damn I had a rough morning. No plays. Was going to play West Virginia...but as I was about to finish up some research, and simultaneously playing poker online...my power went out (had KK flopped a boat...and no disconnect protection!). Power didn't come back til after the game started. Lame.
Oh well... Pitt loses and Nova barely squeaks out a win in OT against DePaul. Crazy day so far in the Big East...

I managed to put in one LARGE play on ND/WVA U130 (-110) b4 I left this morning... and that's looking nice going into the 2nd. half! I'm gonna' see what else looks good.

I liked that ND under too... I'd have gotten it at 131 on The Greek if I had taken it when I was looking at it... AND I liked Cincy last night and they won in OT... I basically passed on like 4 winners yesterday. Sigh. I guess that Cincy game could've gone either way though... And the Under only would've covered by 1...so probably for the best that I passed. I liked Rutgers +12 too... and they covered. ugh... That's what happens when real life interferes with my study time. I needed a little more time to feel comfortable placing those bets and I just didn't have the time to check every little detail out.

This week: I've got one play holstered for much later in the week that I love already... and a couple more I'll definitely be looking hard at. So hopefully we'll have another good week.

No Big East games today, we get a day off

Just walked over and spoke with friend at athletic Dept at OSU, Im on campus... Moses traveled and will play depending on how shoot around goes in a few hours.. He said that he was complaining and not wanting to participate in pregame meal...Despite he will not play to potential, if he does he will most likely end up in foul trouble with the twins (like he always does anyway)...with other big man williams out with rape charge..point production comes from Dowell? Olukemi? if so who gets the boards? We loose this one by double digits with Kansas having massive points in paint and second chance boards...KU proves they deserve #1 ranking after Texas loss..

Nova is going to do a repeat of last year and get knocked out of the tourney in the first or second round. I thought this was where they bounce back after a close one over DePaul...but this is just a pathetic team. From the start of the game they looked sloppier than South Florida.

I didn't have the stones to play Syracuse... figured it'd be a tight one that they pull out a win in...but it was just too close. I haven't played anything yet, but here are my leans:
Syracuse +1 over Gtown
DePaul -1 over USF (this was the one that I thought was a 2 unit play a week ago...now I may not even play it... still debating)
St. John's +6.5 over Villanova (this one is the closest to a play at this point... I'm likely to play it, but still need some checking out)
Seton Hall +10 over ND (but really this line is correct... ND could blow them out by 25 or SH could keep it close... but 10 sounds right to me)

Again, these ARE JUST LEANS! I didn't play any of them myself... but I'll try and check back in before the next batch of games kicks off.
