Why is it that the bigger the toss-up, the more some fools put on the game?

To me, both FF games are a total crapshoot. They could go either way. These games aren't technically worth any more than some random NBA or preseason MLB game; you don't make more money if you get it right. So why are there so many threads claiming "LOCK!" and "GUARANTEE!" one way or the other?

I've never understood that. I'm going small on both games, if at all. I'll find some random pro game to cap closer and harder than this. Why sink so much money into 50/50 games that mean so much to both sides?

Couldn't agree more, I've been going back and forth on this game all week. Still have no idea who I'm gonna play or if I'm gonna play it. Not putting more than a unit or two on it if I play it..just for fun.

Again, it's not like if you cash, your money triples or something.

If you have some inside angle, I'd love to hear it, because I've heard enough "experts" saying they're going big on each of the four teams this week that it's making my head spin.

Mich St/Butler is one of those games that I know whoever I go with will lose. Think I'll go with Mich St since it seems like every capper on here I respect is on Butler.

Very good point buddy, just ask most of the idiots in PT that loaded up on the Super Bowl and are still paying for it. I mostly find better value and more interest in lower level games that are kind of out of the public eye, for instance I play tennis on a consistent basis and with the exception of the 4 majors, its pretty much flies under the radar. Another example is in college hoops where this year a large majority of my plays came out of the Southern League, didn't plan on that particular conference before the season, but knew I would try to find a smaller conference where I saw value and get familiar with it. As for the guys that load up on these big games, SB, FF, WS, SC, etc. or whatever the big event, maybe its all the talk about the game, anticipation, what's on the line for the teams or maybe its because its towards the end of the season and they are either chasing or throwing some of their profits on it, I really don't know but you make a good point NC.

Thanks, ICE. I look for good values, and typically, they don't come in high-profile games. There's a reason the lines are so close to Pick, and trust me, they're razor-sharp.
