Is it because it will continue with the theme of the "cinderella" team of this tourney? (Although butler isn't a true "cinderella", they were a pretty damn good team all year)
We all know Izzo is a phenomenal coach and will have his kids ready to play. But will the "homecourt" advantage really help Butler that much here? I consider that to be a variable that is too hard to figure out. First thought is that they will be even more energized and helped by the crowd, but then again it could work against them.
Ultimately, it might just come down to who is actually the better team. Both these teams are cool under pressure, but I might have to give the edge to Butler - who wasn't impressed with the way they controlled the end of the 'cuse and then k-state games? Initially, I liked Michigan State in this one. I still would lean that way, but I'm starting to think Butler might really be the play here.
