I've been following a few College Basketball games this round, and the announcers have been adamant in pointing out several huge discrepancies in the reffing.
1- Kansas game, intentionally foul with about 5 seconds left in regulation. Ref doesn't call it, then Kansas fouls on a 3pt attempt, ends up sending it to overtime.
2- Syracuse game, 4 point difference, no call on the push off dunk to make it a 6 point diff and affecting the game in an enormous way.
3- Purdue game. A handful of fouls on either side not getting calls. Sometimes it seemed like the foul was so blatant, that the player fouled briefly stopped playing 100% expecting a whistle.
Now with the exception of the Purdue game which Duke had in the bag about halfway through the 2nd half, these other calls hugely affected the outcome, and may affect the point spread. I'm wondering if there is any trends to reffing styles in the Tourny that some people factor into their bets.
