Actually I could probably give you a pretty strong analysis of IUP because I have watched at least 20 of their games this season but I have not seen a single second of a Cal Poly Pomona game. I do know IUP can score the rock but don't know how CPP is on defense.

Yes, this is played in Springfield, MA. IUP should definitely have more fans there.

Then this was the event I was at a few years back, local bar owner gave my buddy and I weekend passes that he had gotten, Mass Mutual center was right around the corner from his bar, pretty good time.

Its still a solid 8 hour drive so some might make the trip and some may not but it is the big one so you would think they would buck up and make the haul.

The last IUP game I watched was last week and they blew out some team, think they put up like 90 or so, looked pretty impressive but as I stated earlier I have never seen Cal PP play.

Its decent sized but nothing gigantic, I would say probably seats about 7k to 8k for a basketball game, really nice place though that was just renovated about 5 or 6 years back when I was around.

Men’s Basketball Team Advances to Championship Game; Fan Bus Planned

The men’s basketball team defeated St. Cloud State, 76-70, on Thursday, March 25, 2010, and advances to the NCAA Division II championship game on Saturday, March 27, at 1:00 p.m. in Springfield, Mass.
IUP will play Cal Poly Pomona, which defeated Bentley, 71-63, on Thursday night. The championship game will air live on CBS.
This is the first time in school history the men’s basketball team has made it to the NCAA Division II national championship.
IUP and the Student Cooperative Association have arranged for buses to transport fans to the championship game.
The buses will depart the Hadley Union Building parking lot at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26, and arrive in Springfield, Mass., at 7:00 a.m. March 27.
Tickets are $80 for students and senior citizens; $85 for others. The price includes round-trip transportation and a game ticket.
Contact the HUB ticket office at 724-357-1313 for more information. There will be no Internet ticket sales.

From what I read Cal PP is pretty solid on the defensive end and they play a match-up zone which IUP has not seen that much this year so they have been trying to prepare for it, who knows how this will turn out but I will be rooting for them.

Cal Poly Student here (honestly), but I couldn't name you one player on that team as D II sports = apathy I do know they lost in last year's final on buzzer beater, so maybe extra motivation.
