In a horrible shooting slump, face Indiana St at home in the Hulman Center when the Sycamores host the Northern Iowa Panthers.
The Indiana State Sycamores are still a stellar 9-2 for the season at home, but they're mired in a catastrophic shooting slump. The tough defense of Northern Iowa makes that unfortunate trend very likely to continue tonight.
Indiana St (11-11, 4-8 MVC) has lost seven straight coming into this one, and have failed to even reach 50 points in three of their last four games. Their latest disaster was a 71-42 loss at home to Missouri State in which the Sycamores made just nine of their 51 field goal attempts (17%).
Northern Iowa (16-7, 7-5 MVC) just stopped a 3-game losing streak with a 79-71 win at Evansville on Saturday. All five starters for the Panthers scored in double figures, led by Eric Coleman's 16 points.
Until Indiana State finds its touch they're a fade machine. So I have to lay the spot with Northern Iowa.
