I don't really think anybody can be very confident in these first 4 games. With that being said, SC has the talent to win this game big or lose this game big. They're an inconsistent team. Metu and McLaughlin will show up. Just don't know much about Providence to be confident in anything.

They aren't garbage, but they can't be trusted either. Looks like the only schools they've beaten in the last 7-8 weeks has been Oregon St, Washington and Washington St.

Why would I mention it? My point with this thread was they're inconsistent but not garbage. Beating UCLA and losing by 2 to them in the tourney shows me this team has the talent to play with anybody in the country. It's weird that they're favored but Providence isn't that great either. What's their best win? Creighton? Cmon man.

Didn't get to watch but from what I can see NCC was horrendous from beyond the arc and Davis barely squeaked out a win. All part of the madness

Davis is a grind it out team with length inside. Being from the Big West area, I've had a chance to see a lot of the Big West teams. It's like watching high school basketball, lol. But Davis is legit.

Prov loss makes me sick but I could see it a mile away 10 minutes into the 2H. They just can't close games.. at least illy state came through.
