Conference Tournament Futures

Believe it or not, conference tournaments start tomorrow. Not sure if we've ever had a thread dedicated to futures, but that's what this is. I'll start with one:

MVC: Illinois St +475
The Redbirds are the #1 seed for the MVC tournament. They are 8-0 against the four teams in their side of the bracket and are clearly one of the top 2 teams in the MVC. Assuming they get to the final, and assuming they play Wichita when they get there, there should be a decent hedge opportunity. And who knows, maybe we get lucky and Wichita gets knocked off early..

MVC starts on Thursday. The A-Sun starts tonight. Reminder to check the format on these. A lot of the smaller tourneys are played at the home gym of the higher seeded team.

What do you think about UNC Greensboro in the Southern Conference? Very good team, finished in a 3 way tie for 1st, going 3-1 vs the two other teams tied for first. +600 seems like a really good price.

I haven't seen the price for all of the teams in the SoCon, but that looks pretty good. I think ETSU is the best team there, but they will likely have to get through a Furman team that beat them once and took them to OT at home. Greensboro shouldn't have much trouble with either WCU or the Citadel in their first game, which could be a big advantage because Chattanooga and Wofford will probably play a very tough game in their quarterfinal matchup. At +600 this is definitely worth a closer look IMO.
