Saw in another thread he's less confident saying they should at least keep it close and stay within a few pts. I hear you. Way I look at it is this. Look at the current NBA. Horrible, horrible product as evidenced by this pretty good but certainly not historically great Warriors squad about to break the season wins record. No team ball, all underdeveloped guys that did nothing but go to the rack in high school and a year or two of college and now as a result don't have any fundamentals and can't make an open midrange jumper. Well that's the state of college. Zero great players. We don't have a Carmelo this year. There's not an amazing amazing player on any of these shit teams, almost no one should be laying close to double digits on a neutral court. Certainly not when they're a perennial tournament failure playing against an Iowa team full of seniors. These same facts are the exact reason we've had more upsets than ever before. The talent pool is no good. Look at MSU for example. MTSU did not get lucky that game. MSU got beat by a better basketball team. In the past, when a 15 seed won it always looked lucky. Like they had their once in a lifetime game. Not anymore. WVU, Baylor, Arizona, Cal... these teams were whooped. Maybe Baylor wasn't quite whooped but you get the point. Many unconvincing wins too. Both of Duke's, Miami, Utah, Iowa, Maryland. The talent is much less and so is the difference between the teams.
