Nebraska only a 1pt Favorite away to Rhode Island?

Why is the line so close? Rhode Island hasn't played anyone near the competition of a big ten school.
Anyone have a thought why?

URI plays vs some top level teams. after this they play Kansas.
Overall, the Atlantic 10 is a big division demanding more respect.
St Louis, Dayton, VCU, GW, Richmond, etc they are not scrub teams.
Nebraska is not a premier Big Ten team in basketball anyway. They
are perennial mid-low level. On the road, hostile environment, roster
changes, etc etc.

p.s. i am sitting out the early part of the season in ncaab
so characteristics can be more developed. just rounding out
a 1100-1 parlay with enormous faves in ncaaf.
