I have edited my plays. I had originally Missouri st +3.5 and the florida/LSU under 71 for the the first half.

hoop, love the FL/LSU 1H under. i have that at LSU, 73-63 for game, so that's right in wheelhouse of 1H under where we both like a lot. think that might be my big play of day. people far more likely to look at their 85-73 game last year and just assume will be high-scoring w/o recognizing how good a defensive coach trent johnson is. lopez bros' departure is part of reason that stanford went from one of best defenses in ncaa to one of worst, but johnson leaving for LSU plays major role too. also like LSU -4 for game, obviously.

for creighton/missou st, i have creighton, 72-65 (right near both spread and total, so both game options are no-plays for me). like your angle on missou st 1H, though, as discussed with tpowell in other thread. missou st working hard at home in-conf, and creighton look-ahead to illinois state is entirely possible. this one means a lot more to missou st, and that should be more apparent in the 1H.

to be clear, i actually agree with you for the game, madetowin. i see them covering, maybe by a couple points [i have 72-65]. however, i try to stick with plays where i see team covering by at least 5 points, so i'm not playing the game ATS, but i think there's value in missou st +3.5 1H. BOL to you with Creighton minus the points - i certainly won't be going against you.

I am staying away from the missouri st game and the first half over/under in Florida/LSU game. I do not like miss st because I do not think that they are going to win the game. Here are my 3 plays in college tonite.

Iowa St +1.5 (1st half)
Penn St +3 (1st half)
NOrther Iowa +3 (1st half)

hoop, i trust your instincts, so staying away from Missou St 1H is no problem. however, i really like the Florida/LSU 1H under, and i've already locked that one. any particular reason for the change of heart? my guess would be b/c it's an espn game, and that your thought is that espn games are more about showcasing offensive skills and feature more foul calls which push games over [see, eg, louisville/gtown last night, pitt/uconn last monday].

fyi, i see n iowa/illinois st very similar to creighton/missou st. i have fave barely covering in that one too [ill st, 70-63]. difference is that n iowa means backing better team [compared to missou st, not ill st] on road 1H rather than more lackluster home team. hard to argue with backing a better team.

in PSU/OSU, i have OSU, 63-54 for the game. as an OSU fan, i can say from experience that they are an underachieving 1H team. will run forecast on iowa state now.

I have been struggling with over/unders in college bb of late. I am having more success in predicting underdogs to cover 1st half spreads. I like all 3 underdogs to be leading at the half. I found better picks than the under in the florida/lsu game.

hoop, seeing some value in the iowa st 1H +1.5. i have that game at baylor, 76-75, and note that baylor has been bad on road 1H and in-conf, while iowa state has been playing well 1H. also see that game going over by 10-15, but think i like iowa st 1H better than over for either 1H or game. 1H over can be dangerous business.

Suns team total under 29 1st quarter. bobcats may not have much of an offense but they do play some defense. Bobcats on purpose will slow down the pace of the game. SUns cannot play that style. I am taking the suns under 58.5 at the half too. I am unloading the max bet at the greek which is $500 per quarter. I wish I can do more.

haha - like that attitude. unfortunately for me, legendz apparently doesn't offer totals for individual nba teams, much less for 1Q/1H [just switched over to there]. this is an unanticipated problem. after tracking your nba 1Q plays last night, i'll admit i'm itching for some 1Q action. think i'll open additional account with greek - was thinking of that for march anyway [lines out for so long that it's good practice to have multiple accounts and shop lines].
