you deserve all these losses you JO. my point exactly, someone asks you a question and you respond with like a jerk. I know you dont think so, but it is hard for most people to belive that someone would pick so many games in one day. so the guy asks you, and your a dick to him....just curious being curious. glad to see you lose for the day.

curious, why exactly do you bet so many games in one day? Wouldn't it be best to pick only a few that you feel the most comfortable with and bet bigger on them? Having that many picks, you can't be making the best choices for all of them (and not all games are even good bets), which just brings your percentage down. This is not a flame at all, I've bet a shitload of games in one day before as well, it just doesn't really work out that well for me and I'm wandering why you do it...are you pretty well educated on a huge number of teams (ie- is this your job?)?

Not sure what bone you have to pick and candidly I don't care. If someone has a valid point I'm always willing to listen to it. At this point, you're looking for anything to pound on Curious. Where did you see him "respond like a jerk"? From what I've seen, Curious isn't exactly a man of many words until provoked. Only thing I can see as a response from him was "I don't post picks unless I have bet them." How is that being a jerk? Sorry man, I just get sick of all of the witch hunt bs. He posts his picks. Takes his lumps when they happen. Has great and bad days like all of us. Is an ass at times like all of us. Just blows me away that we have to look to discredit someone for putting in time and making an effort. If the shit works for him then let it be. I got no beef with you ... hell I got no beef with anyone but this bs simply puts my blood pressure higher than it already is from this thing we do. I am discontinuing the NCAAB thread.

The haters can have their way. They have pretty much killed this thread by filling it up with bullshit.

So, I'm not going to waste my time any more.

I'm sick to death of having to read all the stupid bullshit. And having to answer the same questions 800 times.

As I have said, oh I don't know, probably > 100 times I play every pick I post, I play the number of picks I do because probabilities only work when you get into the law of large numbers and I play the probabilities. I built math models to tell me when a line has an edge.

I used to post unit sizes using 1/2 Kelly with a risk of ruin of 2%. But, the haters talked so much shit over the unit sizes that I just standardized them on the 3,2,1 leve with an occasional 10. Now they complain about this.

Personally my unit sizes are what 1/2 Kelly dictates. I tried explaining all this several times but the haters just fill up the threads with bullshit so there is no way to explain anything.

I have decided to spend the energy that I was spending on SBR on turning my ability to predict sporting events into a real business. I am going to Vegas next week and will stay there till the end of NBA season. If things go well I am going to hire a couple of mathematicians and turn this into a real business. I don't want the drama of dealing with the offshore books. My posted record in MLB, NBA, NCAAB, and NCAAF over the past two years is > 70%.

I may also start a sports advisory service. What the haters call a "tout". I find it pretty easy to find beatable edges on a consistent basis. And to the haters who will now say "if you can pick winners you wouldn't sell the picks you would just bet them", the only reason you say this is that you don't know anything about variance. Selling picks is a way to smooth out variance and variance is what kills bankrolls.

So, no more free NCAAB picks from Curious.

I am certain that the haters will now fill this thread up with trash talking about how Curious is a fraud, his record is made up blah blah blah. Fine, they won't have to read my picks any more.
