hey CK i dont know what the deal is with ATVI today, i would sit it out wait for their earnings report which will be awesome Feb 11th i beleive is the day and see it jump well over 10, PWR i love i see them getting a boost like the infrastucture stocks got hence JEC, i bought some at 18 its around 21 i like it to go to 25 but will take some off the top and let it ride, AESI is a strong hold if you are looking for quick trades i could have given you the bank stocks at the beginning of the week these bad boys get hammered then jump like rockets as soon as the government comes up with a way to help them, I feal like a total ass not letting you in on the straddle play i do every quarter for google i had mentioned it before but didnt know you were interested in them i had mentioned it to BIgMoney, but hey a bank stock would be great for a straddle play those fers go up 10-30% a day and you can see some great volatility in them, or i would implement one into a coal company or ETF or a railroad ETF/company but if you dont want to mess with those dogs with fleas i got plenty of tricks up my sleeves.

also CK i wouldnt look to much into obamas economic plan, they have it all wrong and arent trying to create jobs, help the housing market build infrastucture which they need to do. First time posting...but been following various threads for quite sometime.
I've watched a handful of cats on sbr and am extremely impressed with the capping abilities out there...I had a strong CFB season, did work on NFL, but here is my handle...
I get banged up on the regular with hockey overs (follow hockeytown - you last night, johnmorr, Afrika) but still make stupid decisions - NO MORE OVERS, NBA has been solid (digging CK's work, dexter, Sam can lay down a thread, and a handful of others...
My follow is mainly CBB right now and I gather insight from a handful of cats - tpowell, westsidepete, etc. and feel most confident in that arena with the exception of making too many plays that even out at night's end.
The reason I bring all this up is that now I feel that I'm spreading my plays out too thin...playing 3-4 CBB games, 2-3 NHL plays, and 2-3 NBA games. I end up on one end or the other each night - killed on all or up big - it ain't clicking like football.
Do you (cats I mentioned) or others recommend specializing on one subject matter or am right to stick with the spread out method?
CK - I am excited to see how your transition from NBA to CBB plays out and understand the timing of the move (to prepare for the tourney) but what do you or others recommend for a stuggling player in these 3 sports after success in football?
Please no - stop betting, bet on cricket, or other BS - I'm a player just trying to tighten things up a bit...

No some of the criteria wasn't there for it to be a Secret Play, but 75% of the factors were there for it to be one, so I rolled with it when I factored in a few filters on this game. West Virginia is hell bent on taking the Big East by storm this year, and Bob Huggins is off the sauce and has his boys playing out of their minds. The more I dig into the college game, the more I am beginning to like the Big East. Matter of fact tomorrow I am playing another Big East game and also one on Saturday. Tomorrow, i am sure that there will be some Secret Plays as there is a whole board of games. I have noticed that most of the Secret Plays have come in the West Coast Conference games, and there are quite a few on the board for tomorrow.
So far I absolutely love Rutgers (PK) for tomorrow as far as a straight play is concerned, and I am thinking of hitting that one BIG. They are 3-0 ats against the Pirates on the road and 2-1 straight up. Throw in the fact that the Pirates are coming off of a big win against Georgetown, and I am ALL over this one. Love the Man City/Newcastle over 2.5 pick and with you on West Ham. Hull have not been playing great recently whereas West Ham are turning things around. Not sure I can lock into the Liverpool pick, away at Wigan is a tough game but they should win. I am also going to take a small punt on Chelsea team total over 2.5.
I am also playing Cardiff City at away to Coventry (at +160) in the Championship.

I do my write ups over here in the middle of the day. Actually I am studying at the same time while I am on the threads. What I am doing is called chain observation. I am tracking teams tha won big games and teams that are on losing streaks and so on and checking ahead on the schedule for who they play next, and then checking out the team that they play next and seeing what they have done as well. that's how i came up with Rutgers for tomorrow, by following a chain of events.Comment -

Georgetown has been tearing the lining out of the pockets of their backers lately (and me too, whores)going 1-5-1 ats and are reeling in the Big East standings and are in need of a win to get things going with a showdown against Marquette on Saturday. In the way is Cincy fresh off of an 11 point win against the Red Storm. For their part Cincy has been playing well as of late, but against also rans Providence, St. John's and DePaul. The loss against Providence is telling and indicative of wht will happen when they face stiffer competition. Cincy is 2-6 as a dog this year, and I don't look for things to change in this matchup as the Hoyas are down as low as they can go for being such a well coached team. As a road favorite of 6 or less they are 1-0 ats with that winbeing a blowout of Maryland 75-48. The linemaker knows that the Hoyas have had their problems recently and responded with a small number for this game, a large differential from the 10.5 line they were handed the last time they were in Cincy winning by 10 and failing to cover that spread. The three losses in a row fall into my subset of taking teams that have lost three conference games in a row, and if they do what usually happens when teams lose three conference games in a row, this game won't be close at the end.
Thanks to info gathered from Sportsguy04, there is a snow storm in the Queen City and attendance may not be an issue. I expect G-Town to win this tune-up gameby double digits as susual over Cincy. They are 4-0 straight up with average marginsof victory being 16.

Texas A&M has had enough. AN awful 4 out of their last 5 gmaes have ended in losses and they as a consequence have now fallen out of the top 25. Into town come the Red Raiders a squad that is having a similar streak, but against weaker competiton in games against TCU, Texas, Colorado, Mizzou and Baylor. However the Aggies have had road games against Oklahoma State, Texas, and Kansas wrapped around a home game against Oklahoma and Baylor, which is a brutal scheduling nightmare. The truth of the matter is that Texas tech is a step down in the level of competition for them and this game may get ugky wit the Aggies in dire need of a win to get the ball rolling again and hopefully creep back into the top 25. The last time these two hooked up in Aggie land, the home team blew the road team away by 44 points giving Coach Knight horrid farewell. I look for more of the same in this matchup as there is a serious gap in talent between these two teams.

put $300.00 on your wagers and put $30.00 on the moneyline for the opposing side's moneyline especially if the moneyline is anything over +200. Be slow and methodical in your approach, and never give away your vigorish to the book without making an attempt to make it work for you.
As far as my wager is concerned, when i am playing NBA BIG means roughly $1500.00 and HEAVY means $3000.00 or more. In this case since I am limiting my wagers on this college experiment, today I am putting a dime on each of these plays, but $1300 on Texas A&M because of the vigorish (-130) involved with buying a point to get under the key number. On my first half plays for G-Town and A&M I am putting $200.00 and on W.Virginia I am putting up $300.00 for a nice tidy sum of 3 dimes put up for the day, which is enough!Comment -
