Will ND Starters Survive Big East Season???
Just for discussion is how overworked the starting 5 are for Notre Dame and how it will affect future play? The one reason I had Louisville -6.5 against them was how the Cards would wear them out by games end. Of course ND should have covered in that game, but in OT they just totally ran out of gas!

Starters for ND have averaged 162 minutes out of 200 per game this year. No top 25 team (except Ariz.ST have over a 150 average) Luke, Kyle, T. Jackson average 35 min. game. How these guys were picked by experts to finish 2nd and at the lowest 4-5th in Big East is surprising? Maybe in another conference playing these minutes but not here. They could possibly finish as low as 9th?

This info. pertains to Monday's game against Marquette. Their starters played 175 minutes against DePaul on Sat. Marquette hasn't played this year with 1 days rest. Undefeated in conf. play! Seems like these teams match up well. Looks like a 5 on 5 game here and who is stronger?

Marq. not a big team, think ND can do damage going with inside-outside game. Just wondering if anyone agrees with me that NDame is a solid play at -3? Still think the Irish will wear down during season but this is a make or break season game and can ND lose 2 in a row at home? Was waiting for line on this game for a few days now, probably wrong at thinking it should be -5 to -6?

Like it. It should be a end of the game cover for them but I see Harrengody (sp) correcting his fade away shots and sticking it in the paint. I am liking the -3 and O 155

Also don't see them losing 2 in a row at home.

I wanted this game at PK, i really did.

ND has a great record at home... one thing to think about it is CONN only beat them by 8, while they [ND] were throwing up enough bricks to build a house!

If cold shooting isn't a factor, I could see ND running away with this one....

          but i'm staying away.

guys, Harangody will face a little softer interior presence tommorow than he did against UConn. Notre Dame should win tommorow. Marquette has gotten fat on lesser Big East teams and ND will be ready to knock them off their high horse

Marquette is lack of size .... ND will have no problem walking all over them tomorrow.

no way they play this bad the whole year. They just rely a little too much on jump shooting and teams like that are wildly inconsistent.

They should win at Cincy, at home against Nova, and maybe at West Virginia. I wouldnt be surprised if they beat Louisville at home either to be honest.

Lets say they get two out of 7, they still would be done no invite with that many loses.
