So I have no idea who started these betting teasers whether it was Wallco, Stifler, John Morrison, but I am giving what was in Wallcos NHL Gold thread a shot at college basketball. This is merely a test and I have no idea how it will work on NCAA Basketball. Wallco does it for the NHL and has had some great success so far. I figured its worth a shot. Theres 2 different systems a v1 and av2.
With the v1 you are looking for teams that have won 3 straight up and you are to fade this team and bet on their opponent in a three game chase for the next three games. If the team you bet on is even money, or a favorite then play the M/L. If they are a underdog, play the spread.
If your team wins the first (A) bet then the series is over. If it loses then you will proceed to the second bet or (B) bet. With this bet you wager the amount you lost in the (A) bet, plus whatever profit you were trying to achieve in the (A) bet. If the second or (B) bet loses, then your (C) bet will be losses from (A) + (B) + profit. If the (C) bet loses, then the series is over and you take a loss. There are specials rules with this in that you shouldnt ever play the first three games of a season, and not starting a chase if theres not at least three games remaining on their schedule etc.
With the second system the V2 system you are to find teams that have lost 3 straight games both straight up and against the spread. Once that team qualifies, you will bet on that team to get a WIN in one of their next three games and the same three game chase applies.
So basically with the v2 you are betting ON the team you find to win one of their next three games and with the v1 you are betting AGAINST the team to lose one of their next three.
I hope Wallco and whoever else started these teasers don't mind me using their basic system this is merely a test and I hope it works but not expecting anything. Also, it should be noted that theres obviously way more college basketball games and teams then in the NHL, so this could get very pricy if you decided to pick all the games and I wouldnt suggest it at all, especially considering this is a test trial. It might be wise to pick a couple teams if you are wanting to try this out.
The v1 plays are all teams that have won 3 straight up and you are to fade this team and bet on their opponent for three games, or until you win the first bet then you are done.
v1 play (A) were Betting against Manhattan with Niagra, Manhattan has won last 4 S/U (3 only needed to qualify) bet Niagra +2
v1 play (A) were Betting against USC they have won 4 in a row straight up (3 only needed to qualify) and bet on California M/L -320
v1 play (A) were Betting against Delaware (won last 3 S/U) bet James Madison +5
v1 play (A) were Betting against Illinois State (won last 4 in a row) and taking Wichita State +2
The v2 plays are all teams that have lost 3 in a row and against the spread and you are going to bet ON these teams to win one of their next three games.
v2 play (A) our team is Cleveland state ML -350
v2 play (A) our team is South Florida +14
I am going to keep track of this on here with results and not add any more teams until one of these gets completed in the chase to keep the clutter down and to not make my BR potentially go crazy. Wish me luck!
