I have Florida at -4.5 but anyone willing to lay -7 needs help. I hope Florida wins by 100 points I want the money but I would never lay 7 points in that spot. But Lets hope Florida steam rolls by 25 points..... Is that to much to ask.....

"I have" does that mean your predicted line or you actually have played them? If you played them then to go from a play to "crazy" over a 3 pointer is a big big stretch.

Not much difference between 4.5 and 7 if you think it is going to a blowout.

I'm curious as to what the OP has this game "capped" at.

Vegas does not go across the country to "step-in"on a college game. Vegas has this line low because it is a interstate grudge match. You've been gambling long enough to know that typically these games are close and the line reflects that, some years its a blow out for the favorite, some years the dog wins at home, and some years it comes down to the final 60 seconds. Vegas goes with tradition here and sets these grudge matches low. Putting Florida around -8 or 9 like a lot of people think it should be on the road would just get huge flows of cash on FSU and vegas doenst like a huge imbalance like that.
GTown yesterday was a line that reflected a team coming off a terrible win at home going to a neutral court against a team that had played better statistically in the games leading up to it. This early in the season the numbers are a little jumbled given the sample sizes, come on man people can't keep blaming fixes and vegas to control 20 players and multiple refs in little arenas in college towns.

I would still be comfortable laying 9.5 points in this game. The big question mark and what everyone is banking on is that Florida is going to struggle on the road with it being their first road game. What if that doesn't happen and they play just as well as they have been...does FSU still have a chance given the way that they have been playing?

Look i appreciate the answers but no one said vegas personally goes to the little towns to fix matches...they make 1 phonecall from vegas to a ref on the books and that fixes that..vegas isn't a charity organisation...fixes are real...we'll see today.

I'm not saying that's out of the realm of possibility--nor am I saying that there aren't games shaved by players or refs (that Hawaii-North Dakota game sure looked shaved by players and refs to me)--but if you feel so strongly Vegas will just make a phone call and fix all the games to bust the public, why are you gambling on this sport?
