#4This belongs in the baseball forum. And just blindly following or fading ANYONE is a losing proposition in the long run.Comment -

#9I'm probably one of the most profitable bettors on this forum and I hardly ever do my own capping. Some are here to make money, and some like the thrill of doing their own capping and being correct in their picks. I am the former. Strictly here to make money. For those that are like me and only frequent the basketball forum, I would like to share a capper that seems worth tailing. But most of you are too dumb, don't like money, and will see this thread and the only thought running through your degenerate brain will be "FORUM POLICE. GET THIS OUT OF HERE."Comment -

We do agree on one thing - that is to beat the books.
However, you're not first to find a "hot" capper and just follow blindly. It usually works out in the short term (because they are on a run). As for the long term...well, for the young and foolish they need to get buried a few times before they learn their lesson.
Down the road, you'll remember this conversation and be embarrassed with yourself. And if you're a man, you'll admit it. If you're just another punk b1tch who has more pride than brains, then I feel sorry for you.Comment -

#12Pretty obvious you're some college-age kid who thinks he's got it all figured out.

So let me get this straight, it is possible to win at sports betting, but it is impossible to win long-run by tailing the best of the best? Who win every year? You can't make money placing the same bets as them?
As well, the point isn't to look for a hot capper. It is to look for proven cappers who's previous results can back up that they are long-term winners. Then you look at their write-ups and decide if they seem like they know what they're doing and if their logic for each picks is solid.
But seeing as you are completely illogical, you would probably have a hard time with this.
Prop bet my results vs your results over X amount of plays?Comment -

You went into detail about how to research the cappers and play the percentages based on past performance - which, although doesn't guarantee future results, can be indicative of them.
So, you've basically come around to agree with me. That young foolish pride just won't let you admit to the fact.
I do a very similar thing to what you've described. I look at the hot touts as well as the cold touts. I track money movement, injury reports, weather (when applicable). There are other factors I look at which I won't discuss.
This is what I meant when I said to NOT blindly follow or tail.
So somewhere along the line, you decided I actually had a point and twisted things so it appears that you are arguing me on this fact when in fact you're in line with it.Comment -

#16And going back to your very first post about "this guy seems to be legit" Maybe he is and maybe he isn't.
The bottom line is, there are a boatload of guys who appear legit at first than disappoint their fan boys in the long run.
As stated before, people like WILL get buried until you take my advice to heart.
The good news - for you - is that you sound like you're coming around to it. It's just comical and a little pathetic that you won't admit it.Comment -

#17Sounds like you just confirmed what I've been saying all along. That BLINDLY FOLLOWING OR FADING ANYONE is a losing game.

#18I'll word it dummy proof and then I'm done with this thread:
If a skilled capper wins 60% of his bets long-run, explain how making the same bets as him each night will result in long-run losses.Comment -

The advice you give here certainly isn't blindly following. That was the crux of my disagreement with you. So you were either wrong when you started this thread or you've done a 180 and agree with me without admitting to such.Comment -

The title of the thread that YOU started is "blindly follow"
I argue that it's a mistake.
You tell me to basically shove off.
And now here you are describing some actual thought process in how to choose and follow a capper - which isn't blind following at all.
So you contradict yourself then tell me to sleep on it...?
With each and every post, you're proving my opinion about you.Comment -
