been saying it all year... get your futures bets in on them at what looks like +150 now... they are a lock for the finals, then you can hedge so you win either way... did the same thing last yr

Didn't you take the Knicks ML?
Agree about the Heat. They will win it all.

Yeah no...Heat are good but they beat a .500 Knicks team on a back to back, lets not crown them just yet.

true, but the way they've been winning as of late is pretty impressive.

Not really, not to me. Who have they played? Theres only a handful of teams in the NBA that even have a chance against Miami in a 7 game series, and Heat did not play any of them during their winning streak.

You mean you weren't impressed by the wins against the kings and the hawks?

they won 8 straight by double digits.. with 5 straight on the road, 3 on a b2b2b.... I dont care who you are or who your opponents are, that is impressive

Yeah its not bad, they have one of the best point differentials in the NBA. But so do the Bulls...
impressive regular season stats mean NOTHING to teams like the Heat or the Bulls, its championship or bust.
There's just a lot of crap teams in the NBA, thats all it means. Heat are elite and theyre facing a lot of subpar competition, that's all.

heat -200 to win eastern conference finals and +150 to win it all is kind of confusing to be honest.
that means they have to be an underdog to win finals.
edit: my book gives -200 eastern conference and +130 to win it all. still kinda weird right?

Just curious but, what were the odds for the Mavs to win it all last year, like +2000?

So you're saying I should put a ton of $ on Nationals to win it all this upcoming season

If I remember correctly, +1800 to win the title, +1100 to win the west.
I'm not sure why anyone would take someone -200 to win a conference, or only +150 to win the title. There's no truly dominant team like the 90s bulls. There's probably 5 teams with a legitimate chance.

yes, clearly. wait til there's 2 games to go in the season and Nats have to win both; and the team they're vying for a playoff spot with has to lose both vs a horrible team!
