Martingale doesn't work cause you go on that 3 or 4 game lose streak that can just cripple you. Oddly enough- your last bet was like -200+ team on the after the 2nd loss. Which only shortens the process of getting crippled- cause instead of a -110 it's a -220. So you compounded an error.

Martingale seems great to start a bankroll though. Had you banked in several spots- once you were up... and restarted your martingale you would not have crippled your roll only lost a bullet maybe 2. If you bank appropriately you should be able to avoid the losing streak that kills you- simply because if you know when to bank. You should have more winning streaks than losing streaks right? Think about it.

I've Martingaled several times always seems to work in the short term.
