    Keep riding the Philly train?

Sixers are -1 at NJ Tuesday night. They've been playing really solid ball lately, but haven't taken that next step away from home (1-10 on the road).

Do they beat the Nets in this spot?

terrible road record or not this looks easy. That's what worries me. Books know people going to bet Philly because the way they have been playing over the last couple of weeks. Covering like 8 in a row I believe. I see no good reason to bet NJ... You think they might fix this game nocoin

I think the Nets might be the play here. Opened at +1.5, then the hook was dropped. You're right: public will like Philly. Nets should have gained some confidence with their faux comeback vs. LAL on Sunday.

I might get crazy and take the T'Pups on the ML @ GS tomorrow night, lyon.

I am on the under in this game, but Philadelphia has been scary bad on the road this season which is keeping me away from the spread.

Don't think it is a bad idea. Has GS beaten anybody recently?

Deflating loss vs. Utah tonight on the road, plus Curry's out....

But Minnesota is Minnesota. Trends lean toward the under here, but I kind of like the over. Tired teams = No D in this one.

Beasley and Love should have a field day vs. GS's frontcourt.

don't you know ... public always wins and fading the public is a useless strategy .. ok sorry I had to take one shot at how stupid all that other stuff is that is going around ...

anyways .. I tend to lean NJ here

Public's not always wrong and sharps/line movement isn't always right.

With that being said, I know which side I'd rather be on consistently.

I actually like the idea of Minnesota ML. You're right in saying that the Minnesota front court should give Golden State problems, especially on 2nd chance points. I'm interested in seeing what Curry's status for this game is as him and Ellis could give a bad Timberwolves back court equal the problems.

I'm liking the Sixers regardless if it's a public play or not. I'm already on them for 5 bills. Their road record may be horrendous but the Nets aren't great either. 76ers keep rolling IMO. BOL.

I made a huge play on Philly at +5.5 vs. Boston and +1 vs. New Orleans. But I'm not sure I like them here. We'll see.

    BOL.

Yea, I'm sure it won't be an easy win either way as we can see by the line but I just can't see the Nets coming away with a win here. All I've seen from the Nets so far is their inability to close games even when winning early. The Sixers r getting it together and playing good ball and I can see igglu and Brand having solid games. BOL to u too NoCoin, hopefully well be on the same side.

team playing way better.....but those odds arent lookin too friendly. i think they'll find a magical way to lose at the end of this game. sixers SHOULD win this game by 15, but they'll lose by 3

I hate going large on average teams but the Sixers have a considerable edge over the Nets here IMO. Plus they KNOW how to win. The Nets could be winning for 46 minutes but they don't know how to get it done.

I agree. Sixers have been playing well lately but have a horrible road record. The nets are at home and kept the game close with the Lakers. If they had gotten blowout by the lakers, I believe the line wouldve been set at around 2-2.5

The line is off. Either the books wan't you to over think it and the Sixers are the play or we will see some NBA theatrics in Philly with a Nets win. My brain is telling me to make a big play on Philly then an alarm goes off because I think the game spread should be at minimum a 3.5 or 4

phillie has not done enough recently to justify being 3.5 - 4 pt road favourites given they still have a 1 - 10 road record

you guys saying they havent been doing anything obviously havent been watching them play lately. they are playing Great together. and even though phillys record is horrible on the road, nets are 4-7 at home.

they are 6-2 their last 8 games and the books had been adjusting the lines accordingly, giving them more respect- until tommorow's line came out. these six wins include an 18-point win over the hornets, 20 point win over the cavs, 11 point win over portland, 16 point win over nets...one of those 2 losses was a 1-point loss to boston because of a layup KG makes with 1.4 seconds left on the clock. AND nets are still horrible.

ive actually been watching these games: they are a different team than they were 2 months ago and they are looking like they can hang with anyone right now. -1 point = sucker bet. (nets are an even worse pick)

I'll be on the Sixers in the 1st quarter. Nets are 6-16-2 SU in the 1st this season. Going up against a very respected 13-9-1 mark in the 1st Quarter for the Sixers.

Please don't over think it guys, Philly is the square play here. They win this one and lose to the Clippers tomorrow night.
