Have been lakers fan for a long but they are pathetic this season! LA misses Phil jackson

john lucas - offensive machine, and too small to defend anyone
derrick rose, although a avg defender, has the ability to make teams tired, tired legs = lazy ball rotation = poor shot %, the bulls defense with rose brings down the shotclock or forces turnovers more often when rose is in the game - esp the rose, brewer, asik, gibson combo

lakers - always have a good run in the game, front court is too good to give up unless there is some disconnect in the lockerroom

The Lakers offense under Mike Brown is putrid. But at the same time, it is a poorly put together team. Outside of Kobe, Bynum and Gasol, they have nothing. PG was a major problem for them last year, and they did nothing to upgrade it. Darius Miller??? Whatever depth they did have last year they lost with Lamar Odom and Shannon Brown. And all their role players are just getting older every year, rather than a lot of the younger guys in the NBA who are getting better each year. Fisher is 37 years old,Metta is a declining 32 years old, Steve Blake, Troy Murphy and Matt Barnes are all 31 years old. Not to mention ever since the playoffs last year Pau looks as if he is slowing down. In a year or two this franchise could be where Boston is now.

lol I don't think Mike Brown is a shit coach...no transition is easy. The Lakers with their size down low, complimented with Kobe should have no problem creating points. They just need to get back to the basics of basketball and not rely on one man making a play.

I'm a die hard Laker fan and as sad as it is for me, I do not see them going anywhere for this season and seasons to come until they get a true point guard who can create their own shot.

Lakers should make at least one run. Let's hope it will be enough. Sure doesn't look good.

Brown is actually a good defensive schematic coach, but leaving the starters in last night when the game was decided was criminal. That was so stupid and they suffering for it tonight.

They were saying how the rest of the coaching staff wanted to pull the starters, and Brown decided to leave them in. Not a good decision.

Bulls missed two shots inside the last 6mins and pretty much drained everything else without running clock. Thats some poor etiquette. Even the Cleveland announcer goes "Man the bulls are not stopping on the offensive end here, they are dropping the hammer on us"

Caron Butler suffered a hyper-extended right knee in Tuesday's game, but played through it against his old Mavs squad on Wednesday and is now out for Friday's game as a result.

There's no word on who is starting yet. We thought something like this had happened, and it goes to show you why players have to be policed on injury matters. If Butler can't go, look for Ryan Gomes to draw a start, or it's possible Vinny Del Negro adds Mo Williams in a three-guard lineup next to Randy Foye and Chauncey Billups.
