President and GM Donnie Walsh resigned today. So now a new guy has to come in and figure out how to work out the chemistry, on a team with no chemistry.
I hope Isiah gets the job.

That's a huge "if".
Still, Carmelo is a chemistry destroyer. They moved all types of bodies around him in Denver and nothing happened. Miami would still go through that team.

Wouldn't that make Donnie Walsh obsolete then?? What's the point of keeping him if the team had no chemistry under him??

He didn't want to make that trade. He got forced into it.
Walsh reportedly didn't want to do this and neither did Amar'e Stoudemire. You cannot gut the team for a superstar. If you do that, it sets you up to be trapped by the salary cap and you will never win a championship.

Which shows you how stupid they are. Donnie Walsh is known for being a good GM and they go against him.
Brilliant.

Carmello needs to learn defense first , before they can contend.

Anyone that thinks Donnie Walsh leaving is not a big negative for the Knicks, then your opinion is irrelevant from this point forth.
The owner of the Knicks is a product of nepotism in its worst form. He still seeks Isaiah Thomas for his opinions on future roster moves. Its one of the many signs of the apocalypse. Add Dr. Buss handing down future ownership to his son, Jim Buss. Then his son signing Mike Brown to a long tgerm contract, as his fist big move.
Rarely does nepotism work in the long run. George Bush Jr.....
Wow I got off topic.

Walsh wanted complete control, no Thomas, and Dolan wouldn't give it to him. Dolan sent Thomas to talk to James. Dolan and Thomas wanted Anthony, Walsh and D'Antoni said they were giving up too much. Thomas was the power. not Walsh. D'Antoni is next. Knicks will go down the same hole with Dolan and Thomas.

Dantoni would love to be fired. He would smoke Cubans everytime Dolan sent him a check for doing nothing. Guy looks miserable on the sideline.

Dolan is the problem with the Knicks. And Jim Buss will do the same to the Lakers when he takes over for his daddy.

I just think he's in the wrong place. You need to run his game, not Mello's.
