I already mentioned Jordan's considerable advantages in the clutch and intangibles(before the mavs series when everyone was all loving Lebron). However I failed to mention two more areas Lebron needs improvement. One he's only an average player in off the ball movement/energy. Without the ball in his hands he's often a spectator and not helping out by floor spacing and/or off the ball movements or energy plays. Jordan, while certainly not elite in this area, certainly never gave the impression of low energy or just standing around without the ball in his hands. Lastly Lebron REALLY needs to work on his half court offense. He's perhaps history's deadliest transitional offensive force, but when Dallas avoided sloppy backcourt turnovers in games 4 and 5 his offense got exposed. To start game 5 he was aggressive his first few posessions. However some clever Mavs defense prevented Bron from driving and dared him to shoot the mid range jumper or post up. They didn't even need to double him every time to make him shoot a bad looking jumper or pass the rock. His jumper could get hot but lately it's ice cold. Jordan/Kobe have superior shooting ability and also were masterful post players(especially Jordan). A feed into Jordan in the post would result in a quick unblockable high percentage fadeaway or a ball fake up and under for a foul or a drive and hook in the lane or an acrobatic finish to the hoop when defenders get too worried about fadeways getting drained in their faces. Bron in half court only have 3 main moves: 1. drive layup/dunk(usually left handed). Almost unstoppable in transition but can be bottled up consistently by smart defenses( remember Celtics and Spurs when they were injury free/good) once the defense is set in the half court. 2. A timed/methodically calculated drive to his sweet spot (preferably right to left) and unleashing an elbow jumper. Hot and cold with this move. . 3. A high rising three point shot that's next to impossible to block thanks to Bron's height/jumping ability. Terrifying when it's going because next to nothing a defender can do but a look at Bron's three point percentage will tell you it's not always dependable. Other Bron half court moves are generally lower percentage: his awkward left handed attempted bank or shot, any kind of post up fadaway(his needs to learn footwark from Jordan/Kobe/Hakeem), or any other jumpers beside his methodical elbow jumpers. D Wade on the other hand have bank shot fallaways to compliment his variety of driving/slashing moves and is the better jump shooter of the two (making him the better half court weapon).

I think Jordan earned his reputation. With LeBron the media just told everyone he was god and he was never going to live up to all the hype.
