On the same day I was making fun of Granger's 11 million dollar salary, the Pacers are primed for a 70 point game.
And here's a thought I frequently have. This is their profession right? And in any other profession if you aren't good at your job you get docked pay or fired. So essentially an NBA player who is missing shots is completely worthless at his job. So why not pay players based on their performance? Or every time a player shoots an air ball, he is penalized 5,000 dollars for sucking at his job? Doesn't this make more sense than agreeing to give 10's of millions of dollars in advance to a player who may or may not be any good the entire year?
