Hi Roag. I have a bankroll management question for ya that I would like your professional opinion on. I currently have a $3000 bankroll. I have a local brick and mortar bookie that I know really well that gives me a great discount. 5% juice on $100-$199 bets and no juice at all on bets $200 or better.
My question is should I take the 5% juice of $100 a game. Or should I take the 3% edge I'm given roughly on no juice at all at $200 a game. Remember my bankroll is just $3000 and no more. I will be applying this bankroll to theNCAA and NFL football season in september if thats any reference.

if your units are $30, and you think that you are sound at NCAAF/NFL (for me last season it was make it on sat lose it on sunday...lol!), I think that 200 is not too much of an extension on bankroll provided you are selective with your plays. This puts you right under 7 units a play. Strict longterm money management, to most people, shouldn't exceed 5 units. However, one also needs to consider the amount of bankroll that they are putting out at any given time. If you are making a large volume of bets, take the 5% juice, that is still a good deal. If you are going to make 3 plays on sat and 3 on sunday, I don't see 7 units as crippling. Ultimately, if you are picking well, I would just stick to a 5 unit limit, vs the juice. While some people are against altering your units midseason, if you get to 4k then just up to $200.
However, unless you really like you angles early in the season, I would start with smaller bets. Most of the "public" preseason predictions are pretty whacked, esp going into NCAAF, and with the lockout, they may prove equally messy in nfl.Comment -

In some parlay like the NFL, all tie lose but in ncaab and nba, all tie push?
In soccer parlay, I haven't had a tie yet to understand this but do tie win or lose which is the draw? Anyone know?
If you play the PK and it Draws, that bet in the parlay is cancelled, so if you had a 4 team parlay and played PK and that match was a draw, you'd be down to a 3 team parlay (just like a push in other sports).Comment
