Yeah, you won't get many 2nd division leagues at DSI or Bodog. 5Dimes and BetPhoenix are really the only 2 viable options for USA players since they offer most of the matches we bet. Even YouWager doesn't offer Spain Segunda, Portugal Liga de Honra, England Leagues 1 & 2, etc.

Good to know...I may add BetPhoenix at some point down the road...We'll see...I know you said you and your buddy have had no problems...But SBR has them list as a B- with a history of payout problems....

This is our first trip to Brazil, on top of the fact we're on another insane run, so please don't overbet! There is always another bet waiting for us, especially in soccer where we have year-round opportunities.

Don't mean to speak for Roag, but I think all the financial dynamics are right here. He started out with $500. He's now around 4K. He's telling you exactly how much to bet with each pick. It's kind of its own separate and self-contained entity. I'm guessing his overall betting BR is different than this so I'm guessing % of BR doesn't apply here.

My problem is (and help me out if you can here Roag) I saw Roag "go Roag" with the WNBA last year, which made me a little apprehensive. By the time I got on board this bandwagon Roag was already up about 1K or so. I was reluctant -- knowing his past "Roag" propensities -- to follow his bet sizes exactly. My reasoning was, well, he started at 500, but now he's up to 1K or more, meaning he's got 1K or more to put into action on this thread. If he goes Roag and rolls it all on a couple of Roag bets, he'll lose his original 500, but I'll lose 1K or more.

So I've been trailing lightly -- as per Roag's advice. Was going at about 40 per pick for the England and Spanish soccer games. About 20-25 per pick for these full global jaunts where he's telling us to go easy because a) he's just trying out some of these leagues and b) he's warning that variance is due to kick in.

So when do I begin raising my bets, Roag? Or do I just keep them as they are for now? My reasoning is I'll stay around this level, then look to pump up in August again with England, et. al.

Also looking to play lightly in WNBA but be ready to move heavy on the "hammer" games. Any and all advice appreciated RB.

I hear what you`re saying Walker and thanks for responding When I started following Roag his roll was I guess like 2-2.5k and I started up with 1k.. I`ve been playing all his picks, going 50% of whats he`s been putting on his plays.. The reason I asked is becuase Im wondering to up my bets some $, but Im hesitating, just "waiting" for a cold spell or something..

Good points and questions dume. Let me be clear to everyone on one point - the "old" Roag is gone forever! I've never had this many people tailing my plays and I have a responsibility to everyone here (and to myself) to practice sound money management principles. That's not to say I won't "hammer" a play every now and then, but it will be a hit the project balance can absorb and only if I feel as strongly about it as I ever have on a bet.

Also, the size of the bets I place here are correlated with the project balance (for my personal accounts/action, I bet more than what I post for the project because my roll is bigger, although limits imposed are hurting my earning potential). Now that the project is about 80% to the goal, there's no need to increase the bet sizes significantly. I'm comfortable with $100 per bet based upon a 3-4K roll to get us to the 5K.

At this point and at the rate we're hitting at, I can't recommend raising the stakes for your personal bankrolls. I just can't see us continuing to hit at such a high rate although every play I put out I expect to win. But we need to be realistic, look at what happened in the NBA playoffs with the Lakers.

If you want to use the project balance and bet sizes as guidelines that's fine, and if you double your roll then you can consider raising it up. Of course, everyone has to decide what's best for them, I would just urge everyone to not overbet and not chase losses. THIS IS BASED ON PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, IT NEVER WORKS OUT IF YOU CHASE!

Yeah, they score a lot of goals, but I'm really trying to focus on leagues that most people can bet, especially in the states. We're very limited over here but there's enough available to find a play(s) just about every day.
