chili that's great, locals are easy to find. i have one that is -110, -170 but i think i know another one that i haven't played with yet. i called a friend of mine who's family has mob ties that used to book forever, he said he is taking a break but he never had the online deal. it was call in and the wrote the shit in a book, totally old school. i tried to get down as much as i could on dallas but he wasn't taking bets anymore

cheme any games where you bet both sides with a slight edge on either? example bobcats -6 and t-wolves +12. or just go with the side with best edge?

When my local let me bet openers I found a few games where I would bet the other side at game time. Buying points on one or both sides made both sides +EV and I even hit a couple of sweet middles earlier this year in NFL.

My local sends the lines about an hour or 2 before gametime and I can use the lines he gives me. Bodog had them at picke'm at the time he sent the lines, then moved to -1 at 5:01 and currently has -2 like you said. Over 6% of the time they will win by 1 or 2 so I got those pushes out the way for free

Glad to see you did well too bro. As far as the calculator getting outdated the answer is no. In fact, as the season gets older the lines become sharper and since the cost of buying points remains the same the buying of points becomes more valuable.

so does the data in the calculator get updated as time goes on? i mean it's using data for like 20 years bakc, right? i'm thinking like, will it be good 5 years from now as rule changes and so on are incorporated

Rules that affect scoring will obviously affect how the lines are made, but as long as you use a book with sharp lines to get the starting lines the value on the point buying is valid. Pinnacle does the job for you by posting sharp lines. I met with incomeraise earlier today at school and I was telling him about the fact that I don't care about injuries, weather (for football), motivation, etc. because that is already reflected on the line.

Thanks bro, sure enough the Magic is becoming the most annoying team this season. When I buy them down to a reasonable spread, they lose su, when I bet the other team plus the points, they destroy them.

I really don't believe in not playing a team because they have burned you before, but I can certainly identify with people that feel that way after getting burned over and over again.

On a side note, my home-team the Rockets have actually sucked when I wanted them to suck and showed up when I'm on them.

If you read the threads everything you need to know is all there. If you can buy points for the same (or close) price as we do then you can make your own plays. A few people here are already doing just that.

What you need my friend is a local even if he gives you -110 as long as you can buy hooks for 10 cents it will be more valuable than a reduced juice book that doesn't let you buy the way we do. Both would be ideal of course.
