Like the CHI and MEM picks, don't know if I can play the Rockets though. I'm from Houston, and this is just the kind of game that they can lose. Houston teams have a habit of pissing me off.

just think its going to take time for the new roster to gel. knicks didnt cover tonight, and i expect denver to have their growing pains with such a big change to their core players.

i always tend to lean on the defensive minded team vs the offensive minded team...

i also had my line set at 4.5, so i see value at 3....

i agree with this, i mean the celtics are clearly a better team in almost every aspect. is there an injury im not aware of or something with boston? the ML seems a lot closer than it should be, at least to me.

Friday 2/25:

(5x) thunder +7_this is a very overrated magic team, and i see extreme value in this line tomorrow. i had my line set at orlando -4.5 and feel this is topped out at 7 right now. perkins should be in uniform tomorrow and continue his battle with dwight howard in the post. i don't see any disruption to the thunder offense with perkins in the lineup. hes more of a defensive presence, and just what the thunder need for this matchup. orlando just had a hideous home loss to the kings, and now are laying 7 to one of the most explosive teams in the West led by Durant and Westbrook. OKC is playing very well right now and just took "the best team" in the league down to the wire in their home building. i see a similar effort on the road here and another close game just like these 2 played back in okc (1 pt win). as road dogs of 6-9 pts, okc is 3-1 ats, while the magic are just 3-5 ats in the same range as home fav's.

2 things to take away from last nights games. (You should always look back at your losses and figure out what went wrong)

A) betting the heat as road favorities vs the nba elite is a huge mistake. miami has proven time and again they cant beat the nba's best. chi is one of the elite teams in the league. huge mistake taking miami.

B) i should have stuck with what i have been saying. wait a few games to see how denver's new roster shakes out. more then that, the celtics lost perkins and the players were not happy about it. not that i should have played den, but i should not have played bos after knowing this news before tip off.
